I actually just re watched winter soldier a few hours ago lol. Civil war is probably my favorite movies with his name in the title though.

Yeah, you are right. Clearly, I like Steve too. At heart, he is a good guy, though I disagree with him. If you look at the world right now, there's a lot of industries where the government is being forced to step in because those industries cannot regulate themselves. But let's not get into that.

The Bucky thing weirds me out because you don't really see much of their friendship in the first movie and when Bucky falls off the train and supposedly dies, you don't really get much of a reaction to it from Steve. And then every movie afterwards comes and he has such a strong bond with Bucky, and I never feel the justification.

With Tony, he starts out as a true asshole who thinks he has everything figured out. Make a few new weapons every year, sell to the government for money, do whatever you want, etc. Iron Man 1 happens, and he totally changes and you can understand why. Like you said though, he retains the arrogance even after his change. That stays true to his character. The arrogance remains, but it's directed in his new path (i.e.: instead of being an arrogant rich asshole who sells weapons, he's an arrogant rich asshole trying to keep the world safe).

The part that makes me think Captain America is naive is that he is very focused on how things currently are. Like he never seems to think in terms of the long game (but that might be due to his skillset really). I'm sure you know this point because everyone brings it up: In Age of Ultron when Tony asks how Steve plans to deal with the "endgame," he replies "Together." That's not a plan! It's incredibly vague. If he had brought up how the suits were similar to Nick Fury's helicarriers all around the world and offered another alternative, I'd be much happier with him (also, I really hate how depowered Captain America is in Avengers and Age of Ultron. Joss Whedon does not know what to do with Captain America. Watch either of those and then watch Winter Soldier. There's a part in Winter Soldier where he kicks a soldier. The OOMPH from that was so satisfying to see.).

Nah, I'm okay with that. It's a very basic and understandable emotion to have. I remember seeing him in the Spider-Man animated series when I was younger. He was very boring. They really gave him a lot of character and nuance in the movies. Honestly, I'd rather have a character I dislike than a boring and flat character.

In fact, characters who you dislike are very important to storytelling, but that's another topic altogether.

He's naive, idealistic, and a hypocrite. In Civil War, when he is trying to console Scarlet Witch, he says "This job, we try to save as many people as we can. Sometimes that doesn't mean everybody. But if we can't find a way to live with that, then next time, maybe nobody gets saved." And then Infinity War happens. And then Endgame happens. He already saved as many people as he could (zero), and he totally ignored his own advice of learning to live with it.

Iron Man, but I feel really bad for him because he had the best first movie and the other two were kinda meh.

Captain America is my least favorite. He's a piece of ****. He had the best movies though.

I don't think mortgages are traps. You are already paying rent (or possibly someone else's mortgage).

Make sure you have a good credit score. Go to a bank, get a good rate on a mortgage, take that to another bank, and ask them to beat it. Do that a couple of times until it's something you can easily manage.

I just googled it and yeah, pretty much. Average is about 4 weeks. Some movies do so poorly in the first two weeks that it doesn't get a third week.

After reading this topic, I tried it with my ring finger. Works pretty well, though I usually use my middle finger. They should've gone for the double snap. Quadruple snap if they're really good.

Why? Tons of them came running back after the assault on the field and into Winterfell.

I know I saw Jorah, some riderless horses, and maybe a few Dothraki return. But in the "Inside the Episode" segment, David Benioff describes the scene as "essentially the end of the Dothraki." So I was like, "Oh, I guess that's it then." I didn't notice them in the episode afterwards, but that's more on me.

Biggest surprise for me was the Dothraki are still alive.

Like, when she was reading off her titles to kill Varys, she left out that she was Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea. She left out a few other titles too, so maybe she just didn't know them all since Missandei usually said them.
