What types do you go for?

I tend to Druid / warlock / savage and whatever else mixes well. It really depends on the bonuses I get and the units I'm lucky enough to spot.

I tried testing different types, but Warriors are always on my team. First time, I did Warrior+Deadeye mostly because the deadeyes are fun to play in Dota. Had to put some back line warriors to protect them though.

I also tried Scaled and Assassin (still with a few warriors). Slark is just ridiculous. Like he jumps in the back line and just attacks and gains stats.

Haven't tried inventor yet, but they look underwhelming. I heard Dragons got buffed. I might try them tonight.

No, it's like a defense type game. You don't do much except set pieces on the board and watch them fight.

There will be PvE rounds (where your board defends against predetermined creeps) and PvP rounds (where you'll defend against other players' boards).

There's some strategy with leveling up yourself so you can place more pieces on the board (and overwhelm with numbers), building interest to get an economic advantage (so weaker early, but stronger later), or getting a good combination of heroes to counter other lineups (overwhelm them with power). There's some strategy with unit placement too, but I don't know much about it. I just kinda put things on the board and hope it was an okay spot. <_<

There's some RNG with what pieces you get, but you can sell pieces back for full price, so you can adapt as needed.

I just started playing too! I played AutoChess before, but I couldn't get into it because everyone was just way ahead already and I had no clue what stuff did together. Underlords is way more streamlined. Still pretty noob, but I just match the symbols.

Weird title though. No clue how Valve decided that. Underlord is already a hero in Dota, and he's not even in the game.

I'm going back and rewatching some episodes. I just watched Season 1, Episode 5. The scene with Bran and Luwin was great. Lots of information in a very short amount of time. It established everything you needed to know about Bran and how he felt regarding the things going on with him and his family (and Luwin roasted Theon good).

I have this game called "Red Flags." The whole premise is that you play with a bunch of people and try to set up the "single" of the round (the single basically picks who'd they go out with). You try to build a person with a bunch of good traits, but your neighbor will try to sabotage it with a bad trait (i.e.: a red flag).

Thought PotD might enjoy it, but I also think I drew some bad cards for day 1 (lots of the "good traits" are not that good).

Topics about housing always makes me sad. My friend is moving to SF and rent is $1500 for one bedroom in a house with six people (it's to be closer to work because three hour commutes was too crazy). Transportation makes me sad too now that I think about it.

What's your housing situation? How's your finances? Your mom may be short on money and just wants additional help. If she isn't and she's more worried about who you're becoming and you're work ethic or something, you probably just have to communicate more and better.

Applying for jobs sucks. Most places just ghost you. I recommend creating a portfolio of your works (make sure they look nice and don't suck), a resume that indicates clearly what skills you have (especially software skills), and a filing system for all the places you've applied.

If you're good with Excel, specify that you know how to create sheets, write formula, use vlookup, create pivot tables, etc. I don't know why some companies have such a hard-on for basic Excel, but saying you're proficient in it is not enough (plus, some people lie about their proficiency, which I saw a lot since I trained a lot of new employee).

Maybe sign up for a job searching website. I still have recruiters emailing me about positions even after I closed my accounts. I don't know how they're finding me. Must've missed one or something when I was closing them. Making a filing system is mostly for your own moral and benefit because it's gonna get demoralizing to not get any responses, but the system should keep a count for you to know that you're working and making progress. You can even borrow stuff from previous cover letters if positions are similar.

Anywho, life is a big waiting game a lot of the time and most people have no patience. Just keep doing what needs to be done.
