Just know the defining panel, the first meeting of Haru and Legosi, is one of the few direct panel to anime adaptations that cemented their mark in anime history. Gamers have ruined reviews. The legitimacy of video game reviews has gone down the toilet. It's all about shock value, politics, and stirring up controversy anymore.

I used to put a lot of stock into reviews, wait until reviews came out to get a general idea of how it was. I don't even bother looking at reviews anymore at this point, it's gotten so childish.

Gamers ruined reviews? I say the monetization of reviews ruined reviews. I don't trust reviewers from media outlets because they've been proven to have been paid off numerous times or they intentionally inflate scores to get in good favors from the company in favor of getting a job there or they give sloppy reviews due to rushing through the game to get their article out by the time the embargo lifts.

In terms of gamers' opinions, I stopped by a few topics about DS on a few sites and the general sentiment is that Kojima's ego is bigger than the moon but the game is a comfy hiking simulator as there's a lot of nuance in traversing from place to place. If "gamers" are turning you off, you need to get a better filter. There's tons of info to be gleamed, and depending on the topic or field, an almost literal goldmine of information that you can profit off of, via sifting through garbage discussion forums.

I saw the PV a while back but it really didn't do it justice. This show is absolutely gorgeous. It uses CGI, sure, but it looks really good and they use regular animation for certain depictions and it flows so well. And the "cinematography" is movie quality. Very few shows I can think of off the top of my head matches it (Monogatari series, Hyouka). The storyline itself is anthropomorphic animals in a High School setting, but what makes this so alluring is the dynamics of integrating herbivores and carnivores into society. There's a constant struggle between maintaining sociability and being true to their animal instinct. There's also romance, but it's handled uniquely from what you normally see in other shonen shows. I'll just leave it at that. I can't spoil that part cause that part left me flabbergasted and wondering just who wrote this story? It comes off as... more realistic than what you see in other anime. For instance (and to lightly allude to what I'm talking about), the world doesn't wait on the MC to make a move, take the next step, or so on.

If you're looking for an anime to watch this season, watch this show. If you're not particularly keen on anime, WATCH THIS SHOW. The dialogue and cast interactions are a class above other anime.

And to whoever read the manga before this show got an adaptation, CONGRATULATIONS. This adaptation has to be a dream come true for you guys. It reminds me of when I saw Attack on Titan. Having followed the manga from before the anime, I was thrilled to see how they knocked it out of the park while working with a source manga with a chickenscratch art style (with a stellar storyline to boot).

UBI is going to be necessary when the 4th Industrial Revolution comes in full force. There literally won't be enough jobs to go around thanks to smart contracts, the true automation (not robotics but that is still coming along), killing white collar jobs. As far as I'm concerned all other candidates are Trump tier at best until they acknowledge this great wealth creation and potentially the greatest wealth transfer.

If a guy sleeps with a girl, that's acknowledgement that the guy is deemed attractive enough for a girl to consider pursuing a relationship with, risk getting pregnant from. For the girl, that means nothing to her worth because there will always be guys chasing tail. A quick check on the femcel subreddit (actually this a distant memory) says that femcels are girls who are incapable of getting into relationships. They also argue that incels could hire a prostitute so they're in the same boat as girls who can ring up a dude as tinder.

So the whole incel demographic is just people who desperately want a relationship for companionship and can't get it and have given up on the possibilities. The incel label is horribly inaccurate in this regard.

The Muslim friends I know kept their relationships under wraps from their parents if they weren't arranged by the parents. My one friend said her brother was arranged with this one girl and they were in talks for marriage before at least 2 years before they got together. Her older sister also was also dating a guy in college before they got married when they went to graduate school. I assume in that case, it was either arranged or blessed by the parents, given how strict her father is.
