Not really. Its just you were raised different. I personally wouldnt say that because my mom is a cop. But you can expect everyone to have been raised exactly the same as you. Especially in different areas where people have different opinions of cops. And not all of them are wrong...

Uh, we've known about that for years now. Not the Iran thing, which is not the reason why Obama didn't go public, but we've known that Russian interference was identified at least as early as 2015. Obama tried to get the Republicans onboard for a bipartisan condemnation, but Mitch "Literally an Anthropomorphic Asshole" McConnell refused and told Obama that if he made it public he would consider it an act of partisanship and would not be afraid to characterize it that way to the media.

Obama felt this would hurt Clinton's shot at getting elected and risked making what should have been (and what still should be) a bipartisan issue into a partisan one, so he opted to not go public with the news until after the election was concluded.

Sounds like a whole lot of narrative painting. I hope the full report does come out though. I'd love to see this whole thing finally settled

No they didnt. He apologized to them and their parents and they requested a public apology. Its dumb. If it's not fueled by racism, I'd like to know what it was because that's extremely over the top

The cop didnt say anything that was that bad at all but now he's expected to make a public apology in front of hundreds if not more than a thousand people... that's just way over the top and I cant help but feel like if it wasnt a white cop the situation would be different

Sure it does. But I'm not sure how you feel the cop was necessarily racist. He was responding to a group of bratty kids that said "fuck the police" to him and his response was basically just that that attitude is likely to land you in jail later on

Explicitly not being able to handle a public apology to kids certainly makes it look that way. And comparing an apology to death automatically throws your argument into question.

Not that I think the public apology was necessary in the first place, but he had already agreed to it in writing. At least keep your word.

You're both fighting over what amounts to something that's relatively unpredictable with tiny sample sizes for all variables. I know you pride yourself with your statistics knowledge so you should admit that even *gasp* you could be wrong and trump could be reelected. After all, the polls last time suggested he had virtually no chance and we saw how that worked out. I put about as much stock in presidential approval ratings as I do those polls.
