Then again, they explained that away in a throwaway line when Thor met Doctor Strange and expressed surprise that there were magic users on Earth.

Its probably best not to look at this too hard and just enjoy the movies instead.

I would argue experimenting with infinity stones is one of those problems. And it's the tesseract's presence on Earth that has Thanos and Loki knocking back in 2012.

Earth (Midgard) is one of the Nine Realms, though.

Thor's character arc in Infinity War is Thanos kicked his ass and killed half his people because Thor was so weak and powerless.

And in order to be powerful Thor goes and gets a new weapon as he is shit scared of Thanos and his losses without it.

He gets his weapon, gets over his fears, attacks Thanos and fails.

That's his arc in IW. He goes from starting the movie as a weak and powerless fearless failure because he had no weapon to ending the movie as a powerful fearless failure because he had a weapon.

It's pretty weak but self contained in IW as a movie you get away with it since IW was always sold as "Part 1 of 2" of a story. So you figured it was going somewhere in Endgame.

But as a sequel to Ragnarok (and all the other Thor movies) and then what actually followed in Endgame makes it super weird in the MCU as a whole.

He loses to Thanos in IW because it's fucking Thanos. Guy clowned Hulk in the same scene.

He goes to the dwarves for a new weapon because this guy is that tough.

(Bear in mind his "the power is in me" moment in the last movie didn't beat the villain, but he beat the villain by recognizing when he is outclassed.)

Said weapon is a powerup and is explicitly stated to be.

He shows that he's able to take down Thanos, but his character flaws catch up to him again (which is a completely reasonable and humanizing issue.)

He literally kills Thanos in the first like twenty minutes of the next movie, then is wracked with guilt about his failures.

Then when he gets Mjolnir again, it's not a powerup. Because it's not the source of his power, it's a focus. Guy has the focus already.

Ned is a ripoff from Miles' Best friend. Peter School is a ripoff of Miles' school. This Peter is a whitewashed version of Miles in many ways (lol).

But they can't use those particular version of those characters without Disney's permission. It's part of the deal.

The characters have nothing to do with the deal and Sony makes the movies. Sony is not gonna help Disney with a "hey, if we fail, you can try again because they're not the exact same characters!!!!"

LOL NO, the 2012 series was just as bad as the reboot films. The turtles designs in the 2012 show was horrendous. Nickelodeon could have went with something similar to the 2003 series for the designs.

Thanos's plan was a bad plan. The movie showed how he became fixated on proving himself right after they rejected his plan for Titan and it ended up destroyed. He wanted vindication and refused to listen to reason. That's why he snapped people away instead of snapping more resources into the world

No, but people who live in lower-light environments will tend to eventually develop paler skin tones. It's why Europeans evolved white skins after dark skinned humans migrated north from Africa.

That poster is extending that logic to people, or merfolk, who would live in a low-light environment like underwater.

They were red hot over Annie. Then it quickly passed because... it was Annie and nobody sincerely cared about that movie.

I think Annie also predated the "SJW" era so it passed quickly because people didn't see it as another theater in a culture war.
