Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face

Was wandering around a graveyard in the middle of the woods one night with friends. We saw a huge beam of light shining down the path, and (assuming it was the cops) began to run. Then the light just disappeared.
Not necessarily paranormal but pretty damn creepy. It was such a huge, bright beam of light that there's no way it could've been a flashlight. It was bigger and brighter than car headlights. It could've been some type of high grade military flashlight or some shit, I suppose, but that implies there was someone creeping around in the forest while we teens dicked around in the graveyard. The same night our cell phones (which were fully charged) kept turning off randomly. My phone died even though it was fully charged. Again, not paranormal, but pretty weird and hard to explain.

Play video games half the time and do simple household tasks/change a diaper or 2 the other half? Sounds amazing.

10 years to get a Bachelor's isnt the end of the world (if you're going part time and avoiding debt/saving money). But ignoring her classes for weeks? Why would anyone pay money to take a class then not do anything?

I saw the first one in the theater and it was good but....when I watched on Blu-ray at home it lost alot without the sound system.

They're not bad movies but they shove so much humor into it that it completely waters down the tone imo. With source material like IT you should be able to make something brutal.

Just like we refer to the 1800s, really. When someone's referring to the 70s, it's generally accepted as the 1970s. Therefore, we distinguish by saying the "1870s" or "1770s."

We would say "1920s" and so on.

When I say "70s" I'm generally referring to the 1670s but ok

Who's the one crying? I'm trying to have a discussion on the subject and you're going on about how sensitive I am and how you're the authority on all educational matters because you work in public education.

It's just ignorant to think the majority of homeschoolers in 2019 are locked up inside with no friends reading the Bible by candlelight. There's a lot of different ways to educate kids and sometimes public schools aren't always the best option, especially for people stuck in awful school districts.

I work in public education, so Im exposed to students coming from homeschooled environments every day, including current ones who have to come to a physical school to complete state testing. I also lived next to a family of homeschooled kids as a teen myself, so Ive seen it on both ends. You are far too sensitive, must be the homeschooling.

Working in public education doesn't make you qualified to say "most" homeschooled kids are socially maladjusted. I'm a student teacher and will soon be a public educator as well. I also have actual firsthand experience with both public schooling and homeschooling. All I'm saying is, you should open your mind a bit. Teachers especially should be smart enough not to make general statements about such a large, diverse group of people.

Thats bullshit. There are tons of socially awkward kids in public school and tons of outgoing, socialable homeschooled kids. I went to public school during elementary school, was homeschooled for 6th-11th grades. Went back for my senior year. During my time homeschooling I took online classes, as well as weekly classes with a homeschool co-op. I've met plenty of homeschooled kids, and they really aren't much different than all the kids I knew from public school. Homeschooling is a different animal today. Most homeschooled kids aren't sitting alone at home studying bible verses.

Personally, I think I got a better education homeschooling. When I went back my senior year the classes were much easier than the work I did while homeschooling. I would consider homeschooling my kids, but I'm not committed to the idea. I guess it would depend on many factors.
