Jurassic Park really is a cute little game. Very short and fairly easy, though.

Other than that, the only half-decent GG game I've played is Sonic Chaos, and even then I think the general consensus is that Triple Trouble is better.

Yoku's Island Express (and two days ago, The Chasm)

Yoku's a good Metrovania and a great pinball game. The Chasm is just procedurally generated Symphony of the Night, which I'm fine with; unfortunately the last main area is hot garage.

I think the societal stigma is just a general one about abstinence, not alcohol in specific. Look at the societal stigma against not eating animal products (source: the bottom of this topic's past results). Or try throwing out a "sorry, I don't eat pizza" and see what people say to you.

There's a route that makes this pretty easy I feel like. The most obnoxious part is how they put a platforming segment with spikes literally right in front of the goal.

Beat the mid difficulty for all of them, had a harder time with 7 than RD weirdly enough (Cogs of Destiny x_x).

I can see this, RD's front-loaded with hard levels whereas FE7 has an easy early game and fairly difficult back end. The gauntlet of Battle Before Dawn, Night of Farewells, and Cog of Destiny is extremely rude.

I don't remember your run being that bad! But I do remember someone screwing you over on a late-game chapter by not having enough Magic.

I was definitely being a try hard too. It didn't feel that way at the time but why the fuck else was Fiora my first pick.

Are you finishing them on hard mode? getting all support conversations?

Most of them only once, usually normal difficulty. FE7 and 8 are the exceptions, I've been through those a bunch for different campaigns/difficulties. Some self-imposed stuff too, like a character draft in FE7 (which I think only xp and I actually finished) and an FE8 randomizer I'm in the middle of right now. Never given all supports a serious try. Oh, and I unlocked all the bonus units in FE8.

I might have played Awakening twice but I probably gave up halfway through the second run.

Ok "based on cultural identity" is probably a bit too general, but the specific case I'm trying to iron out here is that to my mind it's possible to racially discriminate between White Americans and White Europeans even though they would both fall under the category of "Caucasian", or something.

Maybe "based on ethnic origin" is a better definition? I'm not 100% sure here off the top of my head.

Maybe Anglo-Saxons (rather, their descendants) as compared to Everyone Else in this case.

But either way, race doesn't exist so it's hard to pin down the definition of racism. Racism's the shadow of the belief in an idea that's incorrect to start with. Race is so ephemeral that it can change depending on the decade or be legislated away or whatever. Are Italians white? Well, tell me their skin color and the year and what country they're in.

If you don't care about the Persona-esque calendar stuff, you can apparently automate the teaching and stuff to get through it quickly, and you can use menus and fast travel to skip all the wandering around the monastery.

I definitely appreciate that they're including those as options. My problem's more the three paths, coming off Fates, a terrible game built around three paths.

This obviously sucks for a lot of people, but honestly it sounds like good news to me. One of the biggest issues with Pokemon has been the incredible amount of bloat with an incredible lack of polish. Pare it down to a solid 200 (or whatever number they choose) and make them all good and I'll definitely take that over the alternative.
