The dream worlds and dream worlds within worlds, the multiple Xehanorts, time travel, being able to track Sora cause he has a fucking X on his shirt. Shit DOES come together and the plot totally moves forward quite a bit, setting up 3, but it's messy as fuck. Plays pretty damn good though.

Ill be honest, I dont see how any of that is more ridiculous than Roxas, Namine, Ven, and Xion all being connected to Sora somehow like prior games showed

CoM makes sense. BBS makes total sense. Days is confusing, but still makes sense if like you pay attention or replay it. Coded is bad. DDD is ridiculously convoluted and stupid.

It wasnt until DDD when all the random plot threads actually started coming together in any manner though. Upon replaying the series it seemed most clear in DDD and now KH3 to me

so far it at least makes a lot more sense than any of the handheld titles that preceded it. The story has been convoluted nonsense since the Chain of Memories but it seems to revel in itself and be a bit more aware of how ridiculous it is from the 3DS title on

I was totally expecting it to be an underwhelming retread based on what everyone else was saying but Im 5 hours in and it is absolutely going above and beyond what any other title in the series has done. The level of detail and scope has never been like this before in the series, by far the most immersive title

Shows probably over now, and even if it isnt, it sure isnt nearly as culturally relevant as it used to be (not that it ever had high ratings, but its status as a critical darling seems to have been taken down a bit sadly)
