I had high hopes for Death Stranding

Even when the reviews came out and said it was mostly a cargo delivering slog, I still gave it a chance

When I was playing the game and low and behold, it was a slog, I still didn't give up thinking there would be pay off at the end

I just beat the game last night and all I feel is massive disappointment. I'll never bother with a Kojima game ever again

If you wake up each morning to do things against your will then you are not free. Most humans would not choose to do the things they're forced to do on a daily basis if they had a choice. This would imply that their freedom of choice has been taken from them.
If a country is taking away it's citizens freedom of choice on a daily basis, then it is not a free country.

TORONTO Indian authorities say they have shut down a call centre where dozens of people tried to dupe Canadians into handing over money through a phone scam involving social insurance numbers.

Sameer Sharma, a deputy police commissioner in New Delhi, said in a statement that the "swanky international scam call centre targeting Canadian citizens" first came to the attention of police on Friday.

Officers moved in on Sunday, arresting 32 people and seizing electronic equipment including 55 computers and 35 phones. Also allegedly taken by police were "script pages" that directed call centre workers on what to say.

According to Sharma, police arrived to find several scam calls in progress with associated computer screens displaying Canadian phone numbers.Three supervisors were also present.

"The supervisors were asked about the activity going on there but they could not give any satisfactory answer," he said.
"On sustained questioning, they divulged that they were engaged in calling [Canadians] and impersonating [themselves] as genuine Canadian police."

The 32 people who were arrested are mostly in their 20s or late teens, although some are as old as 37.

This. At least Uber/Lyft drivers have to pretend to be nice/courteous to you because their ratings depend on it. Taxis couldn't give two fucks

It's fucked up but a lot of uber drivers take advantage of this pretense to make unwanted sexual advances on women and shrug it off as 'they make me try to talk to customers'

The score isn't a factor. Pokemon is one series where reviews, positive or negative, mean nothing to me. Everyone plays Pokemon for a different things. Based on what I know of the game (sub par graphics and animations, reduced Pokedex, mandatory Exp-Share, removed moves, minimal post-game, short story mode), I know that the Pokemon experience that I look for will be insufficient. I don't require reviews to help me make that decision.

So you're a pokemon connoisseur and this game hasn't met your gentlemanly standards then

I did not cancel my pre-order.

Mostly because I never pre-order games. I did however reverse my decision to buy the game.

This will be the first mainline Pokemon game I haven't purchased.

What metacritic score would have been acceptable for you to decide to buy it?
