What I figured. Whether it is shooting the driver or purposely crashing them and killing them or etc. Police have the justifiable and legal means to end the chase.

My point is that we already have multiple cases of police who DO HAVE body cams that just for whatever reason didnt function when they committed an alleged abuse of power

And nothing ever comes of it

For a DUI and they start a high speed chase, they very likely will be shot to end the chase because the person fleeing the police is a danger to the people on the road at that point.

...if so, probably. They shouldn't though as it can be lethal, especially if you've got certain health conditions. They've definitely gotten away with more usage there than they should be allowed. I'm assuming tazers are under the same umbrella as their sticks, which despite causing more damage should be less lethal as it's not a literal electric current.

I mean they can take people without any reason too but yeah that was probably a typo <_<
