Dont put them out there if you dont want them to do the job, Evans wrote in a text to Investigative Post. This is an example of officers doing exactly what theyre supposed to and then getting charged. Its so wrong.

I think he actually is trying to tie today being a great day for equality into the jobs numbers, adds in an aside about how the National Guard has done so well when they are called in, and then invokes George Floyd looking down and having a great day because he sees the jobs numbers and the National Guard doing work and realizes that means we now have equal protection under the law?

I wonder if there has been any study of when sports success took priority over social issues for fans, and which social issues

Like in the days of segregated baseball, fans would rather the team stay all-white than entertain the idea of signing any black players, no matter how good they were. Over time that changed, but slowly.

But then again there are STILL no openly gay male athletes in major sports, because of the stigma of fan backlash. So its definitely not like talent and winning cure everything yet.
