Watching a game over a stream kinda takes you out of any emotional impact of being the one controlling the character. You're not the one making the choices/taking the actions, so it's much easier to feel completely disconnected from the experience and thus not get the same feeling people that have played it have.

Which, like said, doesn't make your opinion worthless at all, but it also doesn't make it equal to somebody that has actually played.

The vibe around the game hasnt gotten much better since then. On June 12, Vice published its review of The Last of Us Part 2, in which critic Rob Zacny said that while the game had memorable moments that made for great spectacle, he was less taken with the story and characters. Nobody ever reconsiders their quest for vengeance, Zacny wrote. Everyone acts under a kind of vindictive compulsion that goes little remarked and unexamined. Zacny went on to describe the games message as complacent, full of oppressive bleakness and violence.
While the vast majority of reviews have lavished The Last of Us Part 2 with all sorts of praise, a handful of outlets Polygon included have been slightly more critical of the blockbuster game. According to Zacny, Vices review prompted a Sony representative to reach out on behalf of Naughty Dog.

EDIT: Now it's not Anagram's lane to trash the stuff himself, that much is true. But not speaking up and trying to take steps to get his dad to get rid of the stuff himself would be irresponsible.

Also, after watching some of that live stream, I'm not sure how I was wrong? They say there have been people running in through the doors leading up to close/trying to run in after, due to the fact that they were stuck in line in their cars in the parking lot/leading up to the Expo Center. And that was my whole issue/argument. Had there been more polling station options, that line of cars/the parking issues would not have occurred, and instead those people would have been in line inside. The reason the line never got to actually build up inside is because people were staggered due to the parking issues. But there were people that arrived at the Expo Center apparently up to an hour early and couldn't get into the building in time due to the congestion issues.

And my whole point was that wasn't the voters' fault. In no world should a voter be responsible for thinking "Gee, if I arrive thirty minutes to an hour early, I still might not be able to vote."

Even in the tone of "cutting off their income," they're making money off of playing a game. Just because they've found a way to make money off of it doesn't mean the rules shouldn't apply to them. Cheating makes the game less fun for other players, so to go "Well yeah but I'm cheating to make money so I should get a pass" seems incredibly silly and selfish.

This is sounding like poll manipulation from the Democrats. The new governor is a Democrat, right? They must know that Republicans and seniors like to vote at the polls - if you close the polls and tell them to vote by mail, they might just not do it. You could still get an increase in overall turnout from more younger voters and Democrats voting.

If this is going to repeat in November, I hope the GOP is aware of the situation, and does a major outreach blitz to make sure their voters know that their regular polling station might be closed so they may need to vote by mail.

Yeah, it had nothing to do with streamsniping. Another streamer got banned from Fortnite for using aimbots and Ninja went on a rant how it was unfair to treat content creators like normal "pieces of shit" who have no followers.

I kid you not.

Theres a difference between a content creator who has millions of subscribers, who then gets banned from what makes him money, and some kid who is just a piece of **** who has zero followers, zero money from gaming and hacks.
