DarkRoast 07/14/20 1:49:46 PM #71	De Evolution, the funny thing is that you don't even realize that the argument you're making is one of the oldest and wrong-est arguments antivaxxers make when discussing measles. Anti-vaxxers take issue with the measles case fatality rate of 1 death per 1,000 cases by arguing that there were actually 10x as many cases of measles, but 9 out of 10 weren't reported. That would, at least to their logic, make the CFR 1 death per 10,000 cases. But here's the thing - in the US there were 500 deaths and 500,000 reported cases of measles per year in the early 1960's before the vaccine. Whether there were 500,000 cases or 5,000,000 cases of measles per year is actually irrelevant - it still killed 500 children per year. This is exactly the kind of logic you're using - and it serves literally only one purpose - to spread doubt about public health officials and to prop up the narrative that you can't trust experts / health departments. It doesn't change the fact that the number of cases and deaths of COVID19 are increasing in Florida. Those are objective facts, no matter how you try to spin details you think are relevant (but in actually aren't). You're "poisoning the well" so-to-speak. --- Well allons-y, Alonso!

The facilities admitted the numbers were falsely reported. 1) Those statistics don't mean what you think they mean 2) They have no impact on the total number of positive COVID19 cases reported daily 3) Therefore, pointing out that they're "falsely reported" serves no purpose other than to obfuscate the fact that COVID19 cases are skyrocketing in Florida.
