Speaking of Japanese zombie movies, anybody remember this one from about a decade or so ago? It was like an action comedy. Been trying to find it for a few years.

Basically there's like a group of good guys and a group of bad guys and somehow zombies get involved. The zombies all have guns. Happens in the mountains.

Movie ends with some kind of reincarnation cycle where the bad guys are now the good guys and vice versa and they're about to face off in some futuristic setting.

The vast majority of cops have no power to stop abuse. Their only reasonable option is to stay on the force and try to do good where they can. There is no logical argument against them, and the people arguing they should be the ones to change things are entirely ignorant of the reality. At most they can speak out about it and make some enemies on the force, anything more will lead to them being fired, possibly arrested, and will have absolutely no expectation of changing anything. Just look at Officer Lane, who was in the wrong place with Floyd's death, overruled when he voiced concerns about Chauvin's behavior, and if he had done more to stop Chauvin, all that would have changed is he would be out of a job and in jail, and either Floyd would still be dead, or Floyd would be alive and this story wouldn't have a fraction of the coverage it has.

This couldn't be true if "the great majority of cops are good". A few bad cops could be easily kicked out by the immense majority that is all the other good cops. The good bosses that they have would have commended them for stopping the bad cop. Their partners would sing accolades to them.
