But yeah there really isn't a good excuse for all the routes to exist and it would have likely been better served as a standard linear game.

I am not pretending to be a medical professional with everyones full medical history.

I am really not sure what you are trying to argue with me here about.

Its pretty much a fact that, especially as we hit our 60s, our risk of various life-threatening events(Cancer, stroke, heart attack, the list could go on) goes up more and more each year.

This isn't even a point for debate, it is just a fact. We're all going to die and the chances of that are going to up by more each year than they did the previous year.

You are thinking too simply like its just age. You can be totally healthy and fit at 80, your risk of a heart attack or stroke is still way higher than most just due to age. We are all human, our bodies have a limited lifespan with increasing risk every day the moment we hit a certain point in adulthood.

A lot goes into it. Unless you know the family history, full medical records, and so on of both, that claim is asinine.

to expand on that, it is a significantly bigger risk from 82 to 86 than it is from 78 to 82. It is not a linear scale at all.

Age is not a defining factor of how I vote. It is something I definitely take into account, as I'd prefer an 8 year Presidency to 4, but it is not end all be all.

Warren for instance is significantly more likely to live to 81 than a 78 year old male to 86.

It is not pointless though, I think you kind of underestimate age at that point. It is actually a significant risk from 81 to 86, even taking gender aside(Which I believe advantages Warren even more in this regard)

Thats not how age works. I'm pretty sure I went over this like 10 minutes ago. Risk of death with age increases at an exponential rate. Bernie and Biden(I'm not acknowledging Blomberg) both are at an age where them dying in office would not be guaranteed but its much more of a possibility than any other candidate.

I've said it many times I prefer someone younger than both of them but am prepared to vote either if deemed appropriate.

hell right now I'm pretty sure I'm leaning voting Bernie because of Bloomberg's status in the polls.

Sander's age is concerning, but I have a grandpa who is 90 years old and just got back from traveling to a foreign country for a month, so some people can just be old and still be active. Even if something happens, well, better 1-4 years of Sanders than the alternative.

People can die real fast. My grandpa went from as healthy and active as anyone could expect to be at 92 and then basically in a drop of a hat lived like someone that was pretty much dead(He hung on for basically 2 years but his quality of life turned on a dime).

Also F5'ing ate my post so I have to restate this.

I've said my peace on health debates a few times. As far as relevancy goes, it basically just means if you are voting for Bernie or Biden you are essentially voting for a likely 4 year term instead of 8. And due to age, you are definitely making the VP pick a bit more relevant just due to the increased risk which comes with age(Which is more of an exponential increase, not linear, risk of death goes up more each year). Beyond that, health doesn't really matter.

And no, Biden does not have Alzheimer's, hes just old(Which is a perfectly fine reason to not vote someone in itself).

And to answer your question about the point, the point was that people ran up all sorts of conspiracy theories about Hillary's health because people are gullible. I thought I made that quite clear.

Also, I did not limit it to just Hillary. Pretty much every major candidate has had conspiracies about their health running around because they are easy stories for gullible people to eat up. You were one of those people eating up those stories, hence proving my point.

She literally was recovering from pnuemonia and exhausted(She'd been out more than her doctors advised). It wasn't medically dangerous but probably ill-advised.
