There's going to be a lot of uncertainty on the margin here for quite a while.

Keep in mind with california, many polling locations, including one a 5 minute walk from my house, have been opened for 2 weeks. So significant votes will have been cast before any of the dropouts. This is going to be nothing like the usual absentee ballot count.

If Biden gets elected I think we get to maybe halfway to where the country was pre-Trump. Then the 'smart compromise' ends and where we end up is the new socialized norm.

You end up with the same status quo if you don't win lower level races with Bernie as President as well. The movement has to ultimately come from below. Bernie isn't going to magically change anything.

Take a look yourself.

Again, you have to state by state breakdown for only battleground states. The two of them are pretty even to arguably a slight advantage to Biden.

Bernie leads national polls but they do not matter.

We know the nominee is going to win the popular vote. Popular vote does not matter.

I had Klob dropping right when Buttigieg dropped. I think I've got the right read on this but we'll see.

and again, I think its actually the right call to support Bernie despite all these people calling for her head. Mainly because she would be ceding significant delegates in California to Bloomberg.

Not to mention it would increase the chances of both Bloomberg and Biden reaching viability thresholds in certain places, which Bernie seems like he'll have no problem reaching in most if not all of California.

I believe factoring in battleground states only it comes out very close to even.

Remember though, house primaries matter. Senate matters. State houses matter. Lots of good can come even if Biden is President as a progressive.

They actually matter more than the Presidency as far as the progressive movement. The difference between a Biden and Sanders Presidency is actually incredibly minimal without more seats and other significant lower level wins.

Its been reported the Republicans are literally drafting subpoenas for Biden and Ukraine as we speak. Even if Biden is 100% innocent, do you really trust Trump to not pressure his Justice Department or FBI Director to make an equivalent announcement the week before the election?

Your going to have to factor in all the instant loss of voters because people fear the socialist tag if you are going to start making lengthy arguments like this.

Keep in mind neither one of these two candidates were my ideal choice but I seem stuck with them.

Bernie is the only person in this campaign WITHOUT access to big money backers. The fact that he has as much money as he does to throw around comes entirely from grassroots donations, which should be counted as a MAJOR point of favor in his popular, not one against. If the other candidates can't get the people, the actual voters, to donate for them, then that's their problem.

I didn't say his money didnt come from good sources. But I'm just saying to act like hes at a huge disadvantage resource wise is simply not true. Biden couldn't even afford to really campaign in California for instance.

Bernie has had far more resources than any of the candidates, Biden included. If he can't beat him hes not strong.

We usually have what I would estimate is at least 7-10 days of food(Way more than this in water, just because sales of bottled water usually dictate making a big purchase) in case of an earthquake, we are making sure to stock up just a bit extra in case.

Definitely expecting a fairly sharp increase in cases confirmed in the United States in the coming days.
