I don't know if it's current policy, but Hustler used to send a free copy of the magazine to every member of Congress each month. Larry Flynt's a cool dude.

https://gizmodo.com/a-mans-penis-started-rotting-after-getting-bitten-durin-1840683812

"A harrowing medical case reported by doctors this month should remind everyone to keep their teeth away from each others genitals. It details how an accidental love bite during sex left a mans penis on the verge of rotting away, though thankfully doctors intervened in time to save it.

The 43-year-old man visited the emergency room with a painful wound festering near the tip of his penis. His significant other had mistakenly bit it while having sex five days earlier, and by the time he sought care, the 3-centimeter wound had turned pitch blacka sign the infected tissue surrounding it had become necrotic and died off.

All things considered, though, the situation could have been way worse. The man didnt have any signs of a systemic infection, such as fever. In other words, the infection was limited to his dick. But given the risk of a life-threatening, flesh-eating gangrene on his penis, doctors quickly hospitalized the man and gave him intravenous antibiotics.

The treatment seemed to do its job, and the man was eventually discharged with an extra course of oral antibiotics. A check-up a month later found that he had completely recovered, with only minimal glans penis deformity.

This is far from the first case of a penis infection caused by a bite. But perhaps more surprising is that many people dont visit their doctor or nearby emergency room sooner after a sexy snafu."

ya the small museums/cultural centers around the city are cool. often free or w a small suggested donation, if you are into your heritage there's probably a museum for ya - and a restaurant!

seriously though there are great li'l pockets of ethnic groups. a few blocks of vietnamese food right off the red line, a mile of indian restaurants & markets way up north, paseo boricua, polish everywhere...
I'm from SoCal and was surprised at the quality of the Mexican food I had in Chicago. Not just the standard dishes but some real deep menus. I don't normally expect much east of New Mexico.

The Chinese food was ass though. Hopefully I went to the worst Chinese restaurant in Chicago because what I had shouldn't be the norm anywhere. Andrew Zimmern was on to something when he criticized Midwestern Chinese food.

I mean they kinda matter.

The reason so many people find it hard on a first playthrough is more due to them having a bad build rather than the combat being too hard.
Bad builds are a big factor in why so many struggle with Souls at first. I have seen so many people stream their first playthrough with really, really bad builds. They will resist any attempt at education as "elitism" or "toxic". By design, the games are made to be played a certain way. You can try it your own way, and may even be successful, but a bad build will make it harder for you.

Or two. Last time I went it was February or March of the year. It was about 50 degrees at maybe 4 p.m. Wind kicked up and by 6 p.m. it was 34 degrees. This was downtown at the Hilton. We had walked to the Navy Pier but hailed a cab to get home - it got so fucking cold so fucking fast.

I'm not an expert on the city but I've travelled there on business a few times. Just be advised that O'Hare is FAR from downtown, the Navy Pier and everything. IIRC you are close to Wrigley field though.

The "idea" was always that starting classes don't matter because you can build your character into something else fairly quickly. No one is in denial that Magicians and Pyromancers don't have certain advantages over other classes.

No, what makes the entire series a load of mind-numbing dogshit is that the technology over the course of these movies, literally stays the same.

These movies are supposed to span generations, yet technology is totally stagnant.
