I think a good way of thinking about it is that it's roughly proportionate to how ticklish you are in that area. Some people also find bony areas painful but they don't bother me

I feel like they should have tried to isolate the old and at risk as much as they could. Young people continue working to support the economy. Then have all stores offer "senior only" hours for the first couple hours each day or so to further minimize their risk. Eventually the virus will spread and more and more (young) people will hopefully gain some degree of immunity.

If this is just like the flu though (in that it's going to have multiple strains and be seasonal) it's pretty fucked to even be doing these lockdowns at all. There's not really anything we can do, just let nature take its course.

A few countries tried this but projections showed it would leave hundreds of thousands dead so it was abandoned.

exactly. I dont think less of cheerleading because of it but it makes the winning less impressive than the performance aspect for me.

Well we know it killed that clinic nurse and the Chinese doctor, both in their 30s and who were otherwise healthy.

Covid19 can kill young people, especially if they dont get to a ventilator. One doctor said people can start gasping for air 70 times a minute. Its not hard to imagine that going deadly wrong very quickly.

Again, I dont disagree that it can be dangerous to anyone, but people in constant close contant with the virus are at a much higher risk. Also, who really knows what killed that doctor?

This is either some exceedingly intricate trolling, or the most inane thing I have read today.

According to google, the average height of a stove is 30 inches.

According to google as well, the average height of a boy at 2 and a half is 36 inches. Not forgetting, after all, that children have arms with a deceptively long reach (no parent would ever forget this), this is a recipe for disaster, unless you want your omelette to be seasoned with small child.

okay, genuinely parenting head on. It sounds like your kid is overexcited in this situation. Your focus should be primarily on de-escalation and distraction and when they are calm and the situation is safe, some kind of explanation/education is necessary. This might sound silly when dealing with a two-year-old but remmeber they arent going to be two forever and still absorb a surprisingly large amount of information, especially through repetition. I don't really see how spanking would achieve any of this.

I don't think spanking is bad because it is 'abuse', I think it is bad because it doesn't generally work very well.
