BotW's really done it. 80+% again. As mentioned earlier, Link did this in 2004 with CATS-Ganonforf-Yoshi, but it's still neat to see again. AFther Link's path of bodies in 2004 though, he then faced Crono who got 37%.

So, DQ11 I have to think is capable of breaking 20+%, so if he did have we ever had an entrant who went four rounds deep with triplings? I have to imagine we've had something land four doublings in a row, but I'm not sure what -- Cloud was just 0.42% off from doing this in 2003 with CATS-Auron-Bowser-Sonic.

Have any other entrants done any of these before?

Mirror's Edge is pretty flawed but I think back on it fondly. I still don't know another game that gets that exciting sense of running as well as that game does. I wanna try Catalyst sometime too, though I hear it didn't learn all the lessons it could have about its flaws.

One of the few shows that got better every season and had an ending that survived its hype. I had a hard time getting into Better Call Saul, but El Camino was awesome.

Super Meat Boy

SMB is a game about jumping at your problems and dying your way to victory. It's the Smash of indlie platformers when it comes to cameos, its soundtrack is amazing, and few games have a better replay system. I just recently 106%'d the game again and it's my personal game of the decade.

Hard to imagine a scenario that Rayman is stronger than Divinity Original Sin 2... but then again, it is Gamefaqs and they like their character platformers.

It ain't star of the contest by any means, but Yakuza 0 needs some props. it started off with some of us thinking Yakuza/Witness could have been the weakest pair of gmes in a match, then Yakuza said to hell with this toilet paper shortage and wiped its ass with the Witness. Most of us then wondered if the Witness would be the weakest game in the contest since Yakuza must still be weak, but now we see it getting ~44% on MGSV instead of getting destroyed too.

I expect MGSV to do worse against Dark Souls then it did last time, but it's gonna need a truly terrible performance to take back this credit Yakuza's earned so far. Good job beating expectations.

Portal 2's looking real good right now. Portal 2 was such a good game -- my personal AAA-GotD -- but I doubted it getting to the division finals after GLaDOS failed to be the one to prove Mewtwo is a fraud.

Now though...like, I can accept AC:NL beating KH3, but I don't think it would be by much. Portal 2/RDR2 should be interesting.

Sonic > Meat Boy by this much is the most stunned I've been since Octopath > Undertale. In that situation, we underestimated Octopath...we'll learn more in time with Sonic Mania, but holy moly. This was an upset I took and just kept feeling better and better as we got closer. Ah well, having a pretty rough go this contest. I gave Ys credit but didn't expect it to outdo SMB at all.

I'll be playing Sonic Mania by its match next round and am excited to try it.

Sonic Mania VS Super Meat Boy is next. I suspect we've been sleeping on Ys being a stronger game than expected, but I'm sticking with the tooth-missing cube of meat for the upset. SM looks super-fun and I just bought it to play soon, but I don't expect nearly enough people to play it for a game from such a classic franchise. Dark Souls gets a lot of credit for inspiring difficult games, but Super Meat Boy deserves some due on that too.

The Sonic movie might make a fool of my prediction, but until then let's go Meat Boy.

I know I predicted Starcraft 2 > ME3 wrong, but there's a lot of places you could go to see Witcher 3 beat ME3 real bad. W3 looks solid, but I wanna see the numbers it puts on against SMG2 before I revisit taking it against the likes of Dark Souls and Skyrim.

Now that things settled down a bit.....

I thought Cuphead would pull this off, but I'm glad I didn't think so when I made my bracket. Not bad GTA.

I suspect GTAV > RDR, but otherwise I'm not convinced what happens in P4G/RDR or in their next round against GTA anymore.

Xenoblade looks terrific here but I'm still keeping a little caution toward 2016's games. DOOM looked solid against REmake 2, but also FFXV didn't beat Hollow Knight by much and Uncharted 4 got dropkicked by Mario Kart 8. We'll learn more when Stardew Valley faces SMG2 -- I don't think this is answered yet on if 2016 has some legitimate strength or not really -- but regardless Overwatch is getting that ass beat and Xenoblade is looking against FE:3H.
