The other didnt get Ring Fit Adventure and said it was a dumb idea doomed to fail even after I told him it actually sold very well and Nintendo made another good choice investing in that idea. Sometimes I feel like Im crazy, based on how they react to me saying anything. --- |

The seeds will all germinate and you can pick the ones that seem strongest. I would also never use fertilizer on seedlings. How much are you using? --- |

Theres a million easier ways to murk the tougher bosses. FrozenBananas posted... Eiko literally throws herself into the middle of every scene shes in and says EVERYONE LOOK AT MEFreya and Amarant WISH they had the stage presence of Eiko. She moves scenes along quicker than they would go otherwise, because of how impatient she is, and her outbursts are basically what a lot of characters need to get out of their asses and figure out their shit. She was an excellent foil to Vivi, and a welcome source of extra motivation for Garnets character. Anyway Lymle from Star Ocean 4 not only adds nothing to the plot, but is unneeded noise when you realize her gimmick is being a dummy. Which would be fine, but then Meracle joins... then Serah joins... and the other two female party members dont have enough character or (more than one) moment to showcase their skills. And there arent enough inter-character stories with her and the others, so you barely even get a sense that she even really knows any of these people shes been traveling with in a unique way. But that goes for most of the rest of the cast too. --- |

Tales of Vesperia brought me back into the genre in 2011, when I hadnt really been gaming at all. Oh! What a summer of my junior year of high school that was! I have 1000 hours on it. I had just gotten a switch in 2017, but was already losing interest waiting for Smash. Xenoblade 2, flaws and all, ruined a LOT of JRPGs for me. To the point where I compare other games cutscene choreography and animation quality to it. Most dont compare. The Xenoblade animators really are talented, and Im beyond psyched to see what they bring to the table for XB Definitive (my first time playing that game) If its anything like the sequel, Im going to absolutely spend over 200 hours on it. The issue is, right now, I need a nice meaty JRPG to keep me satisfied. Persona 5 was very good in terms of battle mechanics, and I enjoyed building up my relationships and Persona lineup, but it didnt quite... hit me the way ToV or XB2 or FF7/9 did. --- |

I know most of you dont give a shit about it, but the panel structure (especially in recent chapters) is some of the best Ive ever seen in the medium. Ive been keeping up with this series from the beginning and Im so glad I did. Hopefully the anime for it eventually adapts the material well. Gonna be hard transitioning the story and imagery from page the screen. --- |
