Yakuza series. I wrote it off as another GTA "inspired" game. After hearing enough people praise the games I gave 0 a shot and fell in love.

Rocket League. I ignored this game until about 2 months ago because the idea of car soccer seemed stupid and I was really bad at it. because of quarantine my roommate and I dug into my local multiplayer collection and this piqued his interest. we played for about an hour one night and both got hooked.

Journey. i thought 'walking sims' were stupid and not worth playing. im glad i got over that because this is a lovely experience.

It's an unnecessary risk. You have no idea who is handling your food. It could be someone who has COVID for crying out loud. Said person could cough or sneeze onto either your food or the bag itself they hand you from the drive thru. You don't need fast food to survive. Technically, all we need is the grocery stores.

You would have to take your burger home and microwave it to be 100% sure you're good. I guarantee you nobody is doing this.

the same risks about coming into contact with potentially infected surfaces applies to gyms even more than getting food to go. also, it's not really possible to get infected by eating food that has been exposed to the virus, your stomach acids and stuff will kill it.

oh n i was microwaving my take-out for the first couple of weeks because i thought it was the safe thing to do. :p

i think the key difference between those two things is how well (or not) each one facilitates necessary safety protocols.

i can visit McDs via drive-thru, get my food and be on my way without making contact with a single person while remaining in my vehicle. can't really do that at a gym.

Im just curious when people started becoming successful and what their educational/occupational background is.

i'm 37 now and living in Ohio. i hit 6 figures a couple of years ago (i think when i was 35). i started with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering and started as a Software Engineer. now i'm a Lead Software Engineer (basically a tech lead on my team of ~6 devs).

Yakuza suffers from too much to do at times and it's compounded by the fact that the scenery doesn't change that much from game to game. You can get burnt out really easily on the series
