They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe.
And here's the gaslighting part.

Saudi Arabia is a US ally
That harbors terrorists that attack the U.S.

read what else I said, they shot down a drone, have been funding terrorist groups and so on and so fourth. They also said he was planning another attack so they decided to take him out.
All of this has been known for quite some time. However, there's a reason we didn't attack prior and using the embassy as the final straw is ridiculous. Hell, explain how we continue to let Saudi Arabia skate considering their crimes? This was bs and used to distract from the impeachment/help Trump with re-election.

Thats prob what the general was thinking when he made that order. The US wont do shit!
Possibly. He underestimated the stupidity of the U.S. Government and Trump's need to distract.

Do people not understand embassies are considered US soil?
Yes. We also understand it still isn't worth risking war in the region we've needed to get out of for years. Since that will cost even more American lives.

Thing is they shot down that drone a few months ago, then they supported the attack on our embassy which resulted in US loss of life, where do you draw the line with Iran? Multiple parties have tried to find some common ground and none of them have came up with any results. Im sure there are a hundred other things Iran has supported both secret and not (like arming ISIS and other terrorist groups)

Im obviously not for more wars, but someone had to stand up to Iran and not let them waltz around especially in Iraq right after the tragedy at the embassy happened.
1 person was killed at the embassy attack. That's hardly a reason to attack an airport with civilians and risk possible war.
