AI War is the one I played the most... but it's not for everyone, it's very much an informational game. Ok, the AI always builds in proportionate response, so if you build fighter+bomber+missile (your basic rock/paper/scissors units) your opponent will do the same and it turns into a slog... but if you build only fighters, they'll build only your counter proportionately, so then you have your fighters do something like lure the enemy away while you send in something else.

Of course, my FAVOURITE is Offworld Trading Company, which somehow is a non-combat RTS... all your units are different forms of gathering or sabotage and you have to obtain economic dominance while playing the stock market.

Ive deliberately tried to play and enjoy that game multiple times over the years. If I do that for a good 25 hours and Im not having any fun and the story isnt going anywhere interesting, then its a shit game in my opinion.

As someone who is a fan of weird technical stuff in games.... the FONTS in the game are excellent. 10/10 Fonts

I thought about doing the whole game with just the starting gun since theres an achievement for that but still seems rather limiting

It's on hiatus until a no-clip bug can be done to skip Chapter 6.

Chapter 6 has a 2nd tentacle, which I don't know how to skip, and the boss which takes 6 or 7 shots if you use all your barrels effectively.

If one were to argue that bosses and cutscenes don't count, sadly you must shoot one of the Poison Sac Men (the one in the nutrient bay) since he cannot be hit with exploding barrels
