Ok, I'm at the end of Disc 2 in the remaster...

The remaster lets you turbo through battles so it went by really fast, and... well,

1. You escape prison
2. You do a little mission with missiles/garden
3. Fisherman's Horizon
4. Cutscene at Trabia Garden
5. Garden Battle

That's it, that's THE WHOLE DISC... and thanks to turbo, the first 4 went by in about 2 hours.

Ok, in Chapter 4 there's a place where you can Zero Grav jump out into space and die ... but, like, you don't just float out forever or get hit by a distant necromorph or an asteroid or anything - you literally impact the skybox and bounce off of it, it's really silly.

All the people who are now clamoring to protect their reputations by saying "oh I didn't storm the Capitol, I was outside! Why are you calling me a bigot, I didn't wave those flags!" They have failed to connect that they actively went out of their way to support a man and a cause that also invited those insurrectionists and supremacists to the same event. I don't know if it's willful ignorance or not, but at this point it doesn't matter. They are bystanders who saw those people standing around, cheering the same rallying cries that day, and they didn't seem to question their shared allegiance at all that day.

Not to be a mad, but simply "attending" the protest in and of itself wasn't a bad thing... maybe coulda even been a good thing. You just had to keep a respectful distance, have a protest permit, and wear a mask and maintain personal distance.

ye, I like potatoes and carrots and broccoli and green beans particularly. I like corn ok, I like turnip ok, I like shredded raddish as a seasoning. EDIT: I also really like peas, celery, chives and onions.

The main things I don't like are kidney beans, cauliflower and lettuce... which is weird since I like spinach

I'm finally doing my Dead Space no guns run that I promised I'd do like 3 years ago and then I peter'd out.

I know there's only two or three hurdles, the first "boss" not actually being one of them... there's IS a bypass

Of course, there's heavy use of STASIS for convenience... even though there is a way to melee only all the enemies (it requires using non-combo'd regular punch only which lets you stun lock, but does very little damage making it take very very long)

Universal ExpShare is a pipe dream that robs hard working pokemon of their EXP. Even if it didn't there's no proof it makes for stronger teams instead of just elevating slacker pokemon up.

Some pokemon are simply too weak to front line and ExpShare helps more than leading and swapping in a sort of apprentice program... it's one of the better ways to complete the Pokedex

It's not 'propping up'. It's an unfortunate necessity to survive in these trying games. Who else is going to HM1 these trees or HM2 us across water? Maybe at some point in the future we'll invent some sort of system to outsource our work to third party pokemon, but for now a trainer needs their HM slaves. The HM slaves get reparations in EXP and it's the only reason we haven't exterminated Bidoof from the face of the planet yet.

You can subsidize the most valuable HMs such as Fly and debatably Surf, sacrificing a SINGLE move on one pokemon, and then just swap members as needed for contract work since it's not like there's Trees and Dark Caves everywhere... yes, it takes a little more personal responsibility to swap teams as needed, but it's important for overall lteam growth

Sure but by doing that, you've thrown those low level Pokemon straight into the tall grass that they aren't prepared for. Charmander on the other hand needs help from the get go and you need couple of Pokemon who want to fight the good fight and that together, we can make a difference.

That means you're relying on a diverse variety of pokemon though. Clearly you should be selecting a team of dedicated elites since your roster is capped at 6. Technically fewer if you discount the HM slaves. Charmander's great offensive typing makes him a great choice for such a team and he promises to be immune to the environmental impact of earthquakes due to flying!

Not to ad hom, but slavery is a crutch - you falsely believe that a third of your party must prop up the other 2/3s, weakening the team as a whole.

An equitable early game means you can catch a larger variety of other pokemon to increase your opportunities, you don't need to rely on Bulbasaur forever, you become independent as you level up

Bulbasaur runs on a campaign of helping the poor, low level individuals get an equal playing field by handling the first two gyms with ease so they can get on a more equal footing middle-game
