I will (barely) give Karin Low Fodder. Shadow Hearts is a very niche RPG series, but Covenant receives a fair share of praise and Karin has TJF to help her too.

High Fodder for Cyndaquil. It's a very recognizable starter and its cute. And I don't see it being a tier weaker than Totodile.

Low Fodder for Sandman. He's mostly only known for his role in Spider-Man 3 and actually DOESN'T have memes from the movie. Some people do non-ironically praise his role in the movie, but that's mostly lost in the sea of memes.

Low Fodder for Leon and The Vulture. Despite being on the Star Wolf team in several games I don't think people care much for Leon, and he has the least meme-able lines in SF64 as far as I can remember. Michael Keaton's performance as Vulture in Spiderman Homecoming was praised, but it's been a few years since then and The Vulture isn't all that popular of a villain apart from that.

Fodder Line for Lapras. It is a popular and decently-strong Pokemon that is given in Gen 1 as a gift, so it was likely very well-used in the games. Plus it got a lot of focus in the Orange Island arc of the anime (and there was the Christmas episode where it TALKED).

DorMid fodder I have come to bargin! I give Dormmamu Mid Fodder based of the the pure meme-ability of his scene in Doctor Strange, his appearances in Marvel vs Capcom and having a FLAMING HEAD.

Low Fodder for Gloria and Cindy. Sword and Shield did not resonate with Gfaqs very well so no one from those games will be worth much. Cindy might be close due to TJF, but I'm not betting on a side character from the maligned FFXV having very much strength.

Low Fodder for all today. I don't get the sense that Gfaqs cares enough about AC Odyssey or NecroDancer to support their characters much. Kassandra could be borderline but I'm not convinced after seeing Odyssey blown out in GOTD2.

Gau doesn't seem too popular and has no story relevance in FF6 to speak of.

Agree with Low Fodder for Eiko and High Fodder for White Mage (her design is pretty iconic).

In line with my rating on other leaders, I say Mid Fodder for Blaine. He had a few memorable episodes in the anime, and his battle against Ash had classic moments like "Aim for the horn!" and the Charizard vs Magmar fight. He is pretty recognizable in terms of design despite being an old guy, and lore hints that he was involved in the creation of Mewtwo.

Agree with Low Fodder for Brahne.

I will say Mid Fodder for Jack Frost. He's unofficially the mascot for Atlus and the entire Megami Tensei series so he has a TON of appearances. Jack is usually encountered early on in the Persona games so players won't miss out on seeing him, and its manner of speaking (Hee Ho!) is incredibly meme-able.

I'm not that confident in Gollum being worth much since he's an easily hate-able character and kind of an ugly dude. But I'll say Mid Fodder since I don't see a lot of vocal hate for him and he is one of the most memorable characters from the LOTR trilogy.

Yeah I'll agree with Low Fodder for Coco. She's just not a Gfaqs type of character and I think nostalgia is the main reason the site cares about the Crash series, and Coco is not very prominent in the original trilogy.

I will say Fodder Line for Nidoking. It is a very popular Pokemon and was used a lot in RBY for its versatility and ease to obtain.

Agree with Mid Fodder for Stan Lee. I expect the Gfaqs demographic will give a good amount of respect votes to the late comic legend.

This will exclude real-life athletes who have only appeared in long running sports series, however I will accept those who have their own games such as Shaq. I will accept nominations for iconic gaming duos too, if there is a compelling reason for both characters to be linked (either co-starring in a game ala Banjo & Kazooie, or always appearing together like Callie & Marie from Splatoon).

Each day will have a separate topic, and nominations will carry over. As far as actually rating the character's contest strength; I ask that users rank a characters potential strength with one of the following qualifiers - LAW Fodder, Low Fodder, Mid Fodder, High Fodder, Fodder Line, Low Midcarder, Midcarder, High Midcarder, Near Elite, Elite, LAW Tier (capable of beating Link). I will average all the ratings given to a character to come up with their final ranking. I have included a highlighted entrant from Character Battle X on each tier of the strength rankings below, to provide a baseline for each.

Note that LAW Fodder is meant to be a tier reserved for the weakest possible characters to put into a contest. A character will only be placed there if at least 3/4ths of the voters for that day agree on the LAW Fodder rating, and no ratings above Low Fodder are given. If either of those conditions are not met, the character will not be eligible for the LAW Fodder tier.

High Fodder for both of the Eevee-lutions. Espeon debuted in Gold and Silver but is a fan favorite due to its design and prowess in battle, plus it was a starter in Pokemon Colosseum. Flareon is the worst of the 3 original Eevee-lutions in battle but is pretty well-liked due to its cute design and was probably used in RBY more often than Vaporeon as a result.

Low Fodder for Hela. Thor Ragnarok is popular and Hela may get some waifu votes, but that's all she really has going for her.

I'll say Mid Fodder again for Shellder. Both it and Cloyster stand out design-wise and Shellder is pretty cute itself. Plus I think that just about every Gen 1 Pokemon should be at least mid fodder, with the exception of the most utterly forgettable ones like Nidoran F.
