Unless theyre injecting you with 5G microchips, theyll need to physically interface with it somehow to get your data. The entire game is designed like a dungeon, with winding paths and hallways with little room for deviation. I personally didnt mind that, though some people really hated it. The gameplay is a lot of fun. You can hot-swap party members at any time, and there tends to be variety in enemy comps, with each enemy being weak to certain weapon/magic types. Its pretty simple, but oddly satisfying. (Pro-tip, look up some help with Khimari builds. He was designed as a jack of all trades character, but by the time his sphere grid opens up hes practically useless unless you know what youre doing. Not that you need to, hes pretty much completely superfluous, but he can be fun if you invest in him.) Story is another divisive thing. Theres an interesting world and history youre thrown into, but the crux of the story is the development of Tidus and Yuna. If you dont like one or either of those characters, the story is going to be a hard sell. overall I loved it tho also, pro tip. If you play it, 100% each cloister of trials when you first get to them. Look up a guide if you have to. Im not going to tell you why, but youll thank me later. --- |
