The game is already bloated af with like, a million hours of game time, so they may as well use it to explore the cast more. <_< though 3 also had the benefit of not having a pretty egregious sin that brings the whole vibe down. Yosukes homophobia was way over the top, even if Kanji did manage to get a few jabs back at him. And the way the 5 cast treated Ryuji was fuckin gross. Like he doesnt even feel like their friend. <_< --- |

In 4 Golden you can restart any dungeon from the beginning of the last floor, and friends will take death-blows for you after you start their social links. and 5...well I cant remember much about death in 5, but I remember it being even more of a joke than 4. >_> I mean its still annoying when it happens, sure, but its not even close to game breaking. ive lost more progress to fudging a battle trigger and getting my entire team combod to death because MCs equipped persona was weak to the wrong element lol. --- |

Like, there is clearly a minimum threshold to pass before you can say you actually are a fan/hobbyist and not just a dilettante. Granted, in the majority of cases its probably just people being jerks to feed their ego. If someone shows a desire to engage with a hobby, then even if their experience/commitment is low, it makes more sense to encourage them to continue engaging with the hobby so that they improve/become exposed to more of its depth. --- |

Sex is seen, socially, as the highest form of physical pleasure. the hyperbole is the joke. There is no deeper explanation to be found. And even then, the comic industry has the benefit of licensing out its heroes to different authors constantly, creating a collaboratively built mythology. if DC was a Japanese manga publisher, thered be no Alan Moores Swamp Thing, or Mark Waids Flash, Dennis O Neils Batman, etc. So no Anatomy Lesson, no Ras Al Ghul, etc. Those additions and refinements only came because of how most Western comics publishing works --- |
