One of my biggest criticisms of Huniepop 1 was for something that bills itself as an ero game, it wasn't actually that erotic. It's a lot of Bejeweled for about a minute of a very poorly written H-scene with basically no variants of some of the most softcore porn I've ever seen.

Huniepop 2 is exactly the same in this regard, only there are two girls in each CG.

I really don't know why they brought back Lola of all people from Huniepop 1.

I don't know anyone that actually feels more than 'eh, she's alright?' about her. While I'm not really into Jessie myself, she's at least popular and I understand her popularity.

Threesomes truly are more difficult than going one on one?!

One of the issues I have is they don't even feel like threesomes though. It honestly feels like a yuri dating game. 90% of the interaction is the two girls in the pair, including in the H-scenes.

It honestly feels like 3rd Wheel Simulator: The Game

It's, again, a good match 3 game. There is more depth to it, and its pretty fun. It does however get a bit frustrating if you're not super good at them like me, however, because of all the new systems upping the difficulty.

The overall writing quality is basically the same as Huniepop 1 I feel, but the creator has doubled down on all of the problems 1 had imo. It even feels like a step down in some respects.

Also the H-scenes are somehow worse than Huniepop 1's which already weren't great.

My verdict is that if you liked Huniepop 1 for the gameplay its possibly better so long as you are good at Match 3. If you were expecting more from the rest of the game however, it's either the same or a step down. Overall I don't think I like it as much as 1.

Yeah if you're queueing as DPS you generally either want to just get people to do it with you from your Free Company if available or do other things while you're waiting lol.

Honestly the queues are better now than they used to be though. ARR/HW queues would be like 30+ minutes for DPS on the regular.

What exactly is the nemesis system? Ive never played this game.

It basically lets the game procedurally generate 'rivals' for you. If you are killed by an orc, they can show up later having been promoted, or if you kill an orc, they might actually survive but be disfigured and have a weakness to whatever maimed them, or learned to combat it because of it etc.

It's a pretty cool system.

IDK if I'd say the games otherwise are that great (they're fine, but they're just kind of standard open world stuff in a LotR setting otherwise) but that system was something great.

Which makes it all the more of a shame its been patented.

Enjoying looking at attractive girls body parts and putting in shots that emphasize on them is not objectification of women anyway. Miranda is a fully fleshed out character that they spend a great deal of time on her personal virtues and failings regardless of that.

There is nothing wrong with a woman being sexual, men (or women) liking it, or wanting to see more of it. It is literally natural. Nobody is suggesting Miranda's only worth is her ass, regardless of whether there are more or less camera angles that show it off.

Get out of here with those bad faith puritanical arguments. You can appreciate sexiness and want more of it without that being the only thing you appreciate.

EDIT: And yes I was being facetious with my earlier post, I don't actually care that much they're removing the shots (even though I prefer they would keep them in).

I will say the worst thing about Ryza 1 is that you don't get item duplication until like 3/4ths of the way through the story.

Just about got sick of making the same iron bars/cloths etc, even if you could automate it to an extent with the auto-craft, it was still one at a time.

IDK who thought that was a good idea on the dev team.

Conquest has some of the best map design and general gameplay of the entire series. The story is absolutely garbage, however.
Birthright is fine. It's fairly average overall on all counts.
Revelation is pretty bad, though. Almost entirely recycled maps from the other games with worse balance than Birthright, and the story is just as bad as Conquest's.

I will say I generally enjoy most of the characters, though most aren't really top tier either, and it suffers from the same problem Awakening had with its characters (only to a greater degree) where there are just far too many who support too many other people so a lot of the supports are just lame. Three Houses did a hugely better job on this, thankfully.

Overall I'd say its just a painfully average FE game series, with the exception of Conquest's gameplay.

Got a few FF6 related FF14 videos now! FF6 has gotten a lot of representation in the game over the course of its lifespan, including some really fun and unique stuff.

There were 3 Heavensward 8 man bosses for the Warring Triad, and Sephirot (Fiend) and Sophia (Goddess) have two of my favorite BGM tracks for the fights (sadly they kinda dropped the ball with Zurvan (Demon)'s music and fight IMO)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdV_bzJgRxE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T1k-9UvdlU

It also, like FF5, got a raid tier in Stormblood, with some cool iconic fights in it. Of course Kefka was the final boss of the tier, but we also got Phantom Train (sadly for everyone, not including a suplex reference), the art goddess boss from Relm's bit in WoR I don't remember the name of, and the Guardian, which loads programs of some other bosses like Air Force.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeJr9_tZf8s (Just linking Phantom Train for the music since the first 3 bosses share it being a remix of the FF6 boss theme)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFRhYuB93qk (transition to God Kefka around 6 minutes)

Also, both Ultros and Typhon are characters in the Hildibrand questline, along with Gilgamesh.

So if you ever wanted to see Ultros and Gilgamesh together in one scene (who wouldn't?) FF14 is the game for that.

FF6 is one of those games I loved a lot on all counts when I played it originally as a kid, but then as I grew older something kinda weird and interesting happened: I appreciate it a lot more, but I actually enjoy it less. I think it did a phenomenal job paving the way forward for JRPGs and its characters and plot are still really good, but for some reason I can never get myself to replay the game in full like I can FF4 or 5.

I really enjoyed DA2's story aside from the dumb stuff with Anders. Basing the entire story out of one big city and seeing how it develops is a really cool idea I wish another game would explore more. The gameplay was overall kind of eh and very repetitive. I don't know that I could play it again because its just not fun.

Inquisition I never finished because while the gameplay was okay (still not as good as Origins, though) and the story was interesting, the amount of menial content it bombards you with that you basically HAVE to do is just absurd and sucks all of the enjoyment out of the game.

I don't have much hope for DA4 honestly because I frankly don't think anyone at current Bioware knows how to make a good game anymore and even if they do they'll be hamstrung by EA anyway. Same for the next Mass Effect.

Heh, it was the opposite for me. I was initially blown away by the frenetic pace and refreshing focus on gameplay, but I began to tire of the gameplay loop maybe halfway in.
I'd hesitate to even call 2016's first few levels real gameplay.

Was playing on whatever the hardest non-nightmare difficulty (I don't remember if it was hard or if there was a very hard) was and didn't even begin to feel danger until around when Pinkies were introduced. The ability to just get health from enemies meant all you had to do was move right up into things faces, shotgun and finisher them and you're instantly full health again.

Zero thought and zero danger.

The game only became interesting when you can't just beast every enemy you see and instead have to choose targets based on your resources, which basic enemies don't necessitate and the bigger enemies were too few and far between to care about before that because you always had enough rocket launcher or whatever ammo to deal with them instantly.

I'm glad I didn't drop the game because it did eventually become very fun to play, but man I came close to doing so.

But she wasnt a coder at all, so she just copied the code over from the video game and let it run. I'm willing to accept that too. But why then, do the Deimos reference being created by Shikishima industries, and are they all terraforming machines instead of just random kaijus like they would be if they werent modified from that video game code at all? Did I miss this because otherwise it feels like two separate plot points kinda got meshed together there

Ryoko wasn't the one that made the Deimos Code, Okino was, because he found that code and it already worked for what he wanted so he didn't have to invent new code. He designed the actual terraforming robots that went ahead of the DNA/cloning ship to terraform the planets that they were heading out to. All Ryoko did was cause the code to implant in the 15 to activate the factories to mass produce those inside the simulation.
