Oh wow, time travel in the movies starts to fall apart when you analyze it, lol. I mean, usually that happens with time travel shenanigans (it's really hard to write a time travel plot without plot holes) but didn't think that would apply to Back to the Future.

One plot hole I noticed was in the third one. They get the idea to go back to the old west because of a letter that Doc's girlfriend sent (she outlived him), but yet when Marty does go back, his existence ultimately leads to Doc finding his girlfriend and rescuing her from getting killed. It's like a time loop except that Doc didn't acknowledge Marty's existence as if he never went back in time.

Not really. Its an obvious cash grab, and yes, businesses are in it to make money, but no other company gets away with such low effort attempts at it. They could have easily made this an e-shop special, releasing one of the games on there periodically at a lower cost. This is literally just Nintendo putting 3 roms of decades old games on a disk and charging full price for it. Even remakes that other companies put actual work into are sold at a lower price from the jump. Its perfectly fine to call them out on this. Just because people are willing to pay it doesn't make it any less anti consumer. If EA did this people would be flipping their shit, but its Nintendo so its not ok to criticize the move for some reason.

Well, ridiculous in the sense that there's like 50+ topics about it on the Switch board, with some of them attacking the fans for daring to support the release.

But I agree with the low-effort thing. It's why I think the asking price is a bit much for what's offered. Nintendo needs to stop with full-priced ports in general, I've never gotten those Wii U ports unless they were on sale just because of that.

They technically already did that with Mario Party Top 100. I wish it wasn't on 3DS though, that makes multiplayer difficult.

Without really giving away the plot, the movie centers around an 11 year old struggling to find her sense of identity and place in the world and coming to grips with how the world rewards women.

The movie is a scathing criticism of the destruction of the nuclear family, the negative influences of hiphop/other adult media not being properly explained to a child and the destructive power of social media on pubescent children.

The move is, ironically, rooted in conservative values.

The main character wants online likes, sees how other women gets those likes and attempts to emulate that. The mother is largely absent, the father is still in Senegal, the girl is basically forced to raise her brother on her own. The movie, which is supposed to be based on irl anecdoes really says, "parents, this shit is actually all your fucking fault for being shitty parents".

That actually makes it seem like a good movie to watch.

I'm still uncomfortable with some of the scenes I saw, but I suppose that's the point.

Crime rate is kinda bad here, you'd probably absolutely need barred windows in even relatively nice neighborhoods.

I do like the weather here, for most of the year except summer (I just hate heat in general). Winters aren't unbearably cold and it doesn't snow for extended periods of time. Lots of great mexican food places here as well.

I know he's skeptical because of the developer, but I don't think we'd have to worry about the story's quality too much since the Zelda team is working very closely with them, even down to writing the story and dialogue.

I don't see the issue. Looks like Crash Bandicoot to me. I think some people are way too picky nowadays because I don't see an issue with the art style either.

Though I will say that I hope mid-level cutscenes aren't too prevalent, they do kinda jack up the flow a bit. And the preorder-only demo is BS too.
