I already bought and played it ages ago, but this is a great freakin' game.

If you enjoy any of Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age: Origins, Divinity OS1/2, or Never Winter Nights, you really can't pass this game up.

It has a great atmosphere that has airs of Athkatla in BG2 mixed with a bit of Icewind Dale.

I also did another that's more or less supposed to more "Royal Guard" rather than Coast Guard. I'll post that later.

Both involved minimalist changes to his actual default outfit.

Worth noting is that his third alt's color scheme is based off his SC1 design.

There's also an evil Hwang for his 4th color, which is cool. For the longest time, I didn't even know there was an SC1 so I just assumed he died between SB and SC2, given his standard ending.

I'm just annoyed at how much the series jumped onto the DLC/Season Pass bullshit. The game literally costs $160 for the core game and two season pass DLC sets (more if you buy the DLC individually). That shit's ridiculous.

They really milked the post launch content with this one and that's been one of my biggest gripes.

On another note, Hwang is freakin' awesome to play. Lots of cool shit he can do. First thing I did was change his outfit though. I'll post pics on my break.

I thought Prime Gaming was a separate subscription, but I guess it's not. It comes included with a Prime Membership.

I actually own a lot of these games across my Switch, Steam, and GOG accounts, but it's nice to have them in one place.

That and I can play the ones I have for Switch on my PC now. Sengoku 3 is awesome and probably one of my favorites. ^o^

Fun ass little game. One of my slight complaints a while back was having to use the right analog stick for attacks. It seems they created an alternate layout option for it that's more traditional to classic beat 'em ups.

Honestly, I think a Warriors-style revival would be great.

The key to bringing this game back is multiple playable characters and emphasis on the combat.

If they can do something similar to FF7R, great, but I doubt that's likely.

Yep. One thing that holds up from my memories is just how terrible some of the map design can be at times. Great backdrops and all, but the game would've really benefitted from a mini map. There's three identical areas interconnected in the prison as well. That threw me off today.

Probably the only turn-based JRPG I ever really liked in any capacity.

I never beat it back in the day. Got stuck on the ghost ship. I couldn't figure it out for whatever reason.

There's good gutterals and bad ones.

The good ones typically fall into the realm where either the voice is just another element of the percussion that adds to the overall body of the music. The other is where the voice is actually discernible and just fits the tone of the actual music. It's hard to imagine anything but gutterals for music like Amon Amarth's and Entombed's for instance.

I was going to list a few groups as bad examples, but I pulled up their music since I haven't heard it in forever and I actually find it tolerable lol
