But the civilians shouldnt have fought back. What the hell did they expect? These soldiers are little kids who have big guns... they cant control their emotions; theyre idiots. Its a slow slog to start. Peragus is brutal if you don't love the gameplay outright(i do, so Peragus has never been a chore for me)

The game is decidedly more slower paced than the first game overall. A lot more dialogue, in general and in companion talking. The game has its actiony moments but generally speaking doesn't have quite the big set piece moments like the first game does.

If you persevere through though and do your due diligence of talking to your companions and earning their respect, you should see why a lot of people love the game.
Gotcha. I am about 45 minutes into the game and still on the mining place. I guess this game is like KOTOR1, where the game doesnt get interesting until Bastilla shows up and doesnt get really fun until you become a Jedi.

Honestly the canister filter is much more efficient because you can add whatever media you want on the inside and you always get 100% filtration. An overflow is fine, but what happens when it starts to get dirty, the water will flow over the cartridge and you lose a lot of filtration. A quality filter will save you from a lot more potential issues, an overflow is fine but if this is something you get into seriously, i'd suggest a Fluval 407 canister filter for your tank.
Gotcha. Ill start out with an overflow and if this hobby becomes significant, Ill look into canister filters.

Some basics to start with

Get a filter rated for up to 100 or 120 gallons, don't undershoot it and not give yourself enough filtration. Also get a heater, probably a 150 or 200 watt. 78 degrees is ideal.

You want to add dechlorinated water, gravel, decor, set up your filter and heater. Run the tank full of water empty for 2 weeks, add no fish until then, and then start off slow, don't dump in 30 fish at once.

The rule of thumb is an inch of fish per gallon of water, so like 37 2 inch fish, 25 3 inch fish, etc. Also factor in growth size to adulthood.

I would start with community tropical fish. Platys, Mollies, Swordtails are very durable and great for beginners. Danios and White Clouds are basically immortal unless you make a big mistake.

Every week, change out 20% of the water. This is entirely important to remove nitrate levels from the water. Don't just top it off after some evaporates and call it good, many people make this mistake. I suggest a gravel siphon vac, a Python is the best imo but a manual one is fine also. I'd watch a youtube video on gravel vaccing your tank.

Don't overfeed, but feed a good variety of tropical flake food, bloodworms and brine shrimp. They can be bought freeze dried, or the healthier version, frozen. It looks like a little ice cube tray of frozen worms and you just drop it in the tank and they will pick it apart.

I suggest a cheap hospital tank, a 10 gallon kit at a pet chain with everything included is under $50. If you get a sick fish, it's ideal to remove it from your primary tank and into the smaller hospital tank so you can treat it properly.

No chemicals. You want a liquid water dechlorinator. If your fish get sick, ick is the most common and it looks like little white dots on their body, and you don't have a hospital tank, raise the water temperature to 81 degrees for one week. They also sell fish antibiotics which is basically the same as human grade. There is a wide variety that will treat infections and parasites. If you cannot resolve with the temperature change, a few drops of tea tree oil can kill parasites. Chemicals that they sell at the pet store that turn your water blue, and liquid algae killer are garbage products that will ruin your water balance.

If and when you start getting algae, get a decent sized plecostomus. They are miracle workers and will naturally eat it all and keep things clean. They get very large so plan for that, i'd suggest starting with a 4 to 5 inch one for a 75 gallon. They can get over 2 feet long, a lot of local fish stores would likely be okay taking it if it gets too big and sell you a new smaller one.

I've kept fish since I was like 10 and i'm now 39, i've had freshwater and saltwater, and kept live plants, corals, and a wide range of fish. Feel free to @ me anytime for anything, or DM me, i'm happy to help.
Wow thank you! Regarding filters: Why are cartridge/canister filters like 10x the cost of the waterfall filters? Should I invest in that or is the cheaper $50 filters good enough?

The $600 only makes up like 1/9th of the proposed bill. Everyone should be getting $5000+ if the money went to the people.

~128 million people received or will receive a stimulus check. With this new bill they will have spent about $3 trillion on public relief. If they just gave it all to the people instead of lining their billionaire donors' pockets, everyone would have received over $23,000 each.

How's that for stimulating your economy?
Where do you think the remainder of the money is going to? Do you actually think its going to billionaires with the intent for them to keep it?

We pay $1200/six months for two drivers, two upper scale MY2019 vehicles, and the following coverage:
  • $1mil/$1mil
  • $1mil property
  • $100/$500 deductible for full coverage (was going to be like $60 cheaper over six months if we bumped this up to $1000/$1000, so made no sense to not get this low deductible)
  • Full tort
  • Rental car and roadside coverage
This could be reduced to about $900/six months if we just lower our coverage to a more reasonable $100k/$300k. Could even go down to like $700/six months if we go limited tort too.

My wife and I are both 28. We have a net worth of about $220k right now (see below for the breakdown). I'm pretty happy at where I am. I have colleagues that are much better off than me, as well as colleagues that are much worse off than me, but I think I'm leading a normal, average "white collar" life.

I absolutely think having money saved up is important. I absolutely do not want my child to have to be required to take care of me... I want to be self-sufficient.

In our early 20s, my wife and I blew a lot of money on vacations; we went overseas almost every few months, spending like $15k/trip. Didn't save a lot during those times... but now, we've settled down somewhat, and are focused on saving more money so that we can have a child within a couple of years.

I still feel "nervous", that I can have all these things taken away from me from bad luck (e.g., laid off, lawsuits for whatever reason, accidents, health issues, etc.).

Properties: $153,400
According to an appraiser during our house refinance this year in June, our house is worth $540,000. Our mortgage remaining balance is $418,500. So net $121,500.

According to an appraiser during our second house purchase this year (for investment purposes) in July, the property is worth $118,000. The mortgage remaining balance is $91,400. So net $26,600.

We have two MY2019 vehicles. According to Carvana's "sell your car" offer, Carvana offered:
Car 1: $28,500. Remaining car loan balance is $28,400. So net $100.
Car 2: $30,200. Remaining car loan balance is $25,000. So net $5,200.

Cash: $28,000
In our bank accounts, we have $28,000.

Investments: $115,000
In our investments (401ks, IRAs, HSAs, and non-tax-advantaged accounts), we have a total of $115,000.

Student Loans: -$75,800
My wife and I both have student loans. The current balance total is $75,800. We do not have any other debt (except as shown above; e.g., we do not have credit card debt, personal loan debt, etc.).
