You can literally get towed by your town/city. if you are parked in someone elses driveway, without permission, the police can be called and you can be found via looking up the registration. You will be told by the officer to move the vehicle. The cops technically cannot make you do it, and they also cannot tow it. The property owner would have to tow it. However, generally tow services are free for the property owner; they just charge exorbitant amounts to the car owner. --- |

And if they get hurt or damage their own property because of your own negligence (say you had a pothole in your driveway and someone tripped or a car damaged their tires on it), they can sue you for it and you can be held liable. If you had clear signs up or barriers (like a fence or a gate), then a person or property on your property will not be allowed and will be considered trespassing. --- |

The manual said "DO NOT RETURN TO STORE", but rather call them to get missing parts. Over the past several months, I got into contact with the VP of sales of that company, and they still did not ship me the damn parts. I went to Home Depot, with a receipt that is 5 months old, no box, just a bunch of parts to make a cart, and they just took it back. No questions, no fuss... wow. --- |

In my delivery notes on my UPS and FedEx account, it says steep driveway; do not drive up on driveway; truck may scrape. UPS follows this instruction; FedEx never does. I have called the local FedEx office and filed a complaint. I put up signs at both entrances of my driveway with private driveway signs. I have literally talked to the driver if Im home and I see the fucker drive on my driveway. But the drivers keep on fucking driving on my driveway. My driveway has scrapes and cracks now on both ends. I took pictures of the damages, video recordings of FedEx trucks coming up and down my driveway, my written records complaining to FedEx via email, and my shipping notes in my FedEx account, and filed an arbitration against FedEx. Someone came, took measurements, video recordings, and pictures of my driveway. He said he was from FedEx. The arbiter ruled in FedEx favor, by saying the angle of the driveway would not make it possible for their truck to scrape. This is horseshit. Should I start a small claims case? --- |
