I feel you right now.

Meant to only play for an hour last night, shower, then switch to Dragon Quest XI for another hour before bed.

Ended up playing for two and a half hours, showering, then another two hours before forcing myself to go to bed before 5 a.m.

You just keep thinking "one more run"...and it gets even worse the further you can get (and eventually consistently clear), and each run takes even longer (and you don't want to stop in the middle of a run, because hey, you're already halfway there you know?)
