Yeah i agree. I love the hell out of Calvin and Hobbes. But turning it into a movie or a show would just straight up ruin it IMO. Leave it as it is. Watterson is awesome for standing his ground.

Robert California is terrible, hes like a character from a different show.

But Nellie doesnt get enough hate, worst thing that happened to the show. Worse than the sound guy arc.

Which is hilarious because IIRC i remember an interview with somebody where they said James Spader didn't 'get' the humor and also couldn't improv his lines at all like the rest of the cast could. So when somebody threw him a curveball in the middle of a scene, he would just go completely blank.

According to Hell's Kitchen he has no trouble hiring chefs that can't cook meat and who fish spaghetti out of the garbage can if they're under time constraints, so I do wonder.
