Nah, I'm kidding. My least favorite part was that everyone could see the beam from Starkiller Base. Star Wars has never followed the laws of physics, and all its planets apparently are only a few miles away from each other, but that one really bugged me. You can't see a giant weapon firing from planets that are light years away from each other.

Oh, and on the same note, the 12 parsecs things (which is also a criticism of Solo). They should have left it as a hotshot flyboy trying to brag about something and just messing up the terminology because he's a blowhard. There was no reason to make it something real.

As far as Finn knew, every living person in the rebellion was in a cave behind him seconds away from being blown up. He had no way of knowing a projection of Luke was going to come, followed by Rey, saving them. In the moment Finn was doing the best possible thing by sacrificing himself to save the rest of the rebellion. Which is apparently something that everyone in the movie thinks is very noble and brave when Holdo did it, but it's very very bad if anyone else does it. TLJ was all over the place on this theme. I have no idea if this movie is trying to tell me whether sacrificing yourself for the greater good is good or bad and if it is bad, that's at least at odds with a good number of other major Star Wars moments (like the entirety of Rogue One's third act for example).

And this isn't to mention the kiss they had in this scene, which was a romance so forced and unpopular that it was just quietly dropped altogether afterward. And also not to mention like how the fuck did Rose's little speeder thing catch up to Finn's and ram him from the side like logically I'm not even sure how this scene physically happened even

The laws of physics don't apply in the Star Wars universe.

For someone who actually thought The Last Jedi was the best Star Wars film since Empire, it really annoys me that Rise of Skywalker ignored everything that happened in TLJ. It was basically a sequel to The Force Awakens.

When my son was an infant, he had to get an RSV vaccine every month--actually every 28 days exactly--because he was a preemie and especially susceptible.

Maybe we'll have drive-through vaccine lines that everyone has to visit as often as is needed to maintain immunity.
