Fantastic game, even the parts people say are needlessly stretched out are great. The combat is so satisfying that I grinded every character to max level and 90% of materia to max level before I even beat normal mode. Never before have I picked up an RPG day after day after day to keep playing more strictly because I wanted to just enjoy the combat system.

As for the stretched out parts being great, it helps of you're a fan of the OG and also super duper stoned the whole time

Just noticed with Kamara locking up RB1 for the year and there being a very high chance Tyreek ends up WR1 for the year (half ppr. He has a 27 point lead over Adams) I'm likely to end up with the top RB and WR for the year as my 1 and 2 picks.

I'm ok with Brees now. He was just making a point to solidify the fact I didn't even need a QB to win this year. Drafted Wentz and Jones, had Jimmy G, Fitz, Goff a minute each for nothing, had Cousins a minute and he was MVP by being mediocre for me for 4 weeks.

Hi so RoJo is doubtful to play this week and I am literally this close to never stopping bragging to my fantasy league about that time I held Leonard Fournette all season and then only started him to win the championship

So my semifinal opponent, the overall 1 seed, had Adams, DK, and ARob at WR. He had JRob and DJ at RB.

He flexed Hunt. If he'd just had CeeDee Lamb or Chase Edmunds anywhere in his lineup, he would've won.

I can't wait to make fun of him

gf didn't follow my advice on fournette because of a Matthew Berry take. If kareem hunt scores between 10-24 points she will lose directly because of not starting the guy I drafted and told her this is a guy we're keeping because he might be valuable later

So fournette was correct over carson and jefferson so far. Kupp remains to be seen.

A shit eating grin came over my face when I saw Davante Adams's box score after last night's game.

Earlier in the week I'd been digging into season stats on fantasy data dot com to debate with some redditor Adams owners who came into a post explicitly about Tyreek Hill in order to basically validate themselves and try to somehow convince Tyreek owners they should still regret choosing him over Adams this year despite his historic season.

Anyway it boils down to, Adams had a marginal advantage on points per game, but missed 2 games, and if you plug in an optimistic scenario replacement WR score into those 2 games, the player slot season average is half a point per game better than tyreek (in .5ppr). So tyreek is arguably a better asset due to better consistency and reliability.

Well of course they were hearing none of it. And now lookie here. What's that, a low end WR3 score from Adams in the playoffs? Oh I will be giddy if Tyreek has a great outing this week

My grandfather walked a couple laps around his neighborhood every single day of his life barring illness or inclement weather. He grew up so poor he had to hunt squirrels and rabbits to eat. Had to walk several miles to and from a one room school every day, etc. Somehow when I walk around my neighborhood (or just anywhere if the mood strikes me) I feel somehow connected with him.

Maybe that sounds silly to some, but that alone makes me perfectly content to just walk all damn day and enjoy the outdoors and peace of mind
