I am not super confident but I will say Mid Fodder for Juri. She has been a fan favorite since her first appearance in Super Street Fighter 4, and seems to be far and away the most popular character from that game. Her SF5 design hasn't gotten the same praise as her original one, but it does provide her with TJF.

Low Fodder for Mr. Sandman. He may even be close to law range, since I think every other Punch-Out opponent is likely stronger than him. But he is at least recognizable as a character from that series and is an absolute unit.

First of all I'm surprised that we haven't rated Pidgeotto yet, so nominate Pidgeotto.

Mid Fodder for Pidgeot. It's a cool Big Bird that highly resembles Pidgeotto and is recognizable due to its long head feathers. A lot of players likely used it in gen 1 as well. However it is not particularly notable considering every generation has its own Big Birds.

Mid Fodder for Porygon and Marowak.

Porygon has the infamous anime episode and is notable for being the expensive Game Corner prize in RBY. It also has a striking blocky design.

Marowak obviously has its appearance as the "ghost" in RBY, and has a decent signature move in Bonemerang.

Low Fodder for Mordecai. I don't think anyone from Borderlands is really going to be worth much due to how the series has died off on Gfaqs, and it doesn't help that Mordecai is only playable in the first game.

Low Fodder for today's Trio.

Captain Syrup is a decently recognizable Ninty character with a name that stands out, but she doesn't have a large number of game appearances so I am not confident in her strength. She could potentially benefit from TJF depending on the pic she gets though.

Geodude has a funny name but I just don't think anyone really cares about it. Brock has one in the anime but it doesn't have much in the way of significant battles - it usually gets beaten fairly quickly.

If this character's canon name was "Excitebiker" I'd be willing to give them more credit. But I don't think many people are aware of the Hobby name, and I think that will prevent some people from making the association to Excitebike.

For Zangief I will say High Fodder. He's no shoto or Chun-Li, but he is one of the original world warriors and a pretty big fan favorite. His design really stands out and his boisterous personality make him a likeable guy - both in-game and in his appearances in the Street Fighter movie and Wreck-It Ralph. Plus he is the defining character of the grappler archetype in fighting games.

People probably at least know who Mitsurugi is, but I doubt they care about him. He's about as generic of a samurai as you can find in gaming, but he looks cool at least.

Same argument for Emerald Weapon as was made for Ruby W.

Obviously everyone knows who Einstein is - but I don't think people like him enough to vote him highly. Opinions on him and his life vary wildly. If anything would put him over, it might be "Hey Einstein I'm on your side!" from Star Fox.

Low Fodder for all today.

Ultimate Weapon is probably stronger than Zolom and the other weapons since it has a mandatory fight. But it still isn't much of a character, and I think it would need a much larger role to really be worth something.

Viper could have been considered a popular character 10 years ago when she was in Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3, but she hasn't been in much lately. Plus her place as the fan favorite from SF4 was taken by Juri.

Nariko I think is close to law range since no one remembered Heavenly Sword, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt as a hot redhead girl.

LAW Fodder for Emmett and Toro.

No one remembers Starhawk anymore and it never got a sequel, so I can't have faith in its protagonist being worth anything. For Toro, I just feel like he isn't known all that well outside of Japan. His only memorable game appearances for western audiences are Street Fighter x Tekken and PSASBR, neither of which will count for much.

Low Fodder for King Hippo. He's one of the more memorable Punch-Out opponents and just a funny character in general, and might even get a few votes out of Captain N. But I don't think any individual opponent outside of Mike Tyson matters enough to be worth more than low.

Low Fodder for Galeem. It might be better than Tabuu, but ultimately it will just be known as "Smash Ultimate final boss" since no one cares about the story of the game. It is definitely recognizable though, and the Sephiroth trailer also helps.

Second Darkwing Duck

Polygon Man is LAW Fodder. I don't think his origins as the original Playstation mascot will be relevant, since he apparently only appeared in print ads before being replaced. And I kind of doubt Gfaqs cares much for PSAS nowadays - a mascot platform fighter that isn't Smash.

Low Fodder (barely) for Launchpad. He's a main character from both Ducktales series and memorable for crashing his plane all the time without injury. Plus his design is recognizable as a Disney Duck.

LAW Fodder for Roy Batty. As praised as the original Blade Runner is, it is still a bit of a niche movie from 1982. Those who have seen the movie may recognize his name, but there's a fair chance that others won't actually figure out that he's the "tears in rain" guy.

Low Fodder for Ruby Weapon. It's definitely recognizable, but it is also an optional fight.

Low Fodder for Kilik. I think he is close to mid though since Kilik is a pretty heavily-played character in SC1 and 2, but he doesn't stand out much in terms of design or personality. They may as well put "staff guy" as his name.

LAW Fodder for Ronan the Accuser. Yes he was the main villain in Guardians of the Galaxy but I don't think anyone really cares about him. GoTG1 is remembered for the Guardians, the music and the presence of Thanos. Not blue guy with a hammer. And he barely matters in Captain Marvel.

Low Fodder for Hitomi. Her default costumes in the main DoA games distinctly do NOT give her TJF, which is the biggest (heh) thing DoA girls have going for them. I don't see her approaching mid unless they randomly give her DoA Extreme art for her match pic.

I will (barely) say Low Fodder for Ross. I have not seen the Civil War movie, which is probably his most important appearance in the MCU. He is very well-known for a comic side character and has a cool name too. I wouldn't expect Red Hulk to be used for his pic, but he could be mid if that happened.

Easy LAW Fodder for Ace Harding. He's a generic mcdetective dude from an old point and click game. Deja Vu has seen ports to NES, GBC and VC on a few modern consoles, but I doubt many people have even heard of the game.

For some reason I was thinking we had already rated Kawakami, but I guess Tae is the first SLink character we've covered. Yeah Low Fodder for her. I think P5 fans will be pretty picky about their Slink waifus, and Tae will generally be one of the first Slinks to be finished in-game, so she might be overlooked a bit compared to later characters. She could be mid if she gets a pic that shows off her TLF (The Leg Factor).
