I remember reading an article before about restaurants that explored raising the wages up to like $15/hr and raising menu prices up. When they raised the menu prices up, ppl started tipping less or not at all and the waitresses complained so they went back to how it was before. I'd have to look for it.

So we can have Tony's suggestion to eliminate tipping with a $15 minimum wage for waitresses... which would make them less money than they make now already. Incur more costs to the company. In turn, cause them to eliminate jobs, cut hours, reduce quality, and/or raise prices. Or you can keep tipping with $15/hr for waitresses and they now makes around $30+/hr (more than a lot of jobs we put a lot of expectations and community safety on the line for) while the company either eliminates jobs, cuts hours, reduces quality, and/or raises prices. I mean, the obvious answer is that if you raise the minimum wage, you could raise the tipping wage jobs minimum wage also... but all the way up to $15 would be ludicrous for a lot of places. Not even taking into account the pandemic raging the entire restaurant industry.

Waitresses make more than $15/hr now with their tips. A lot of them don't even claim all their tips either for tax purposes to boot.

Waitresses become easily the highest earning jobs in my entire area. They make like $25/hr now after tips. You are basically adding $12/hr to their wages.

The problem with Hawk's turn is they didn't give us enough reason.

I assume the intention was that Robbie kept showing Hawk up and taking his attention and star status... and without that social acceptance which he always sorely lacked ore-Hawk in Season 1... he no longer had a reason to continue acting out. The problem is... showing a single snake scene didn't get us to that point for the turn to seem natural. I mean it was only seconds after breaking into Sam's house and assaulting the others that he decides to turn for someone about to do the same thing he himself did to Dmitri... Sure, maybe there is a little internal justification we didn't get to see of maybe when he saw someone else doing it to Dmitri that it brought back memories of them being bullied... but they didn't show it to us... Makes it all seem unnatural.

Okay. Let's give a proper update.

I am Soul Level 56.

I just beat the Dragon God and the Flamewalker.

Flamewalker gave me all kinds of fits. Dragon God I oneshot... the other bosses I one shot was the Phalanx, the leechmonster guy, and the Armor Spider.

I sorta one shot the Tower Knight and the Adjudicator (Tower Knight I got to with low life and he one shot me the first time I got to him right off the bat... the second time I beat him... but never did find get to his weak spot after knocking him down. Just beat his ankles to death til he died. Adjudicator I wasn't prepared for the first time, and he seemed impervious to my weapon. Second time I just shot him with arrows til he died.

Flamewalker was annoying as hell. I still haven't found a boss in the prison area and am basically unable to progress due to a arrow gun. The other area I don't think I can progress without a way to walk through swamps without dying to poison. I dunno... just going off the message beforehand... I didn't try yet.

I don't think I did the Armor Spider or the Dragon God right? I just healed through their fires and wacked them to death (or in the dragon god's case wacked my way to the spot to wack him to death). Leech monster I just pretty much healed damage and wacked away also. *shrug*

The island level has me getting swarmed by ghosts so far, so I haven't gone back there yet.

Have a Broadsword +8.

I have like 27 in vitality, 44 in strength, and 14 in dexterity. Everything else is soldier base stats. I have zero spells so far, so that's weird.

There is a spot... I think it's a bunch of flying enemies above with enemies below that is a very, very easy place to grind. Think it has worms and lightning knights or something. (Though to be fair I could be thinking of another game right now and mixing them together.)

I dumped everything into Strength as I leveled since the game doesn't mention dexterity affecting weapons. My weapon scales moreso on dexterity. Nice...

I am not gonna trash her for it. She is the first lady of the United States. They were American citizens. The one did serve in our nations military. So, I can see why she could have that belief. I just don't personally agree with it. I think it was deserved by their own actions and a lot more were lucky to get out with their lives based on what happened. The last thing you want is attacking Trump mercilessly his entire term and then continuing attacking him months after he is out of office. Depends on state laws and their deferrment programs. In my state you can't get ARD in a crime that causes harm. Actually, maybe you can as long as a misdemeanor. For DUIs you can't if you caused harm tho.

They aren't a state, so I do not know what laws pertain to the area, but again, this didn't happen in their jurisdiction. This happened on federal grounds at a federal building. By law, the capitol and white house and such cannot be on non-federal lands. It's why DC has never been a state to start with. It has to remain independent. It was never supposed to house people, just our government. Then maryland and virginia donated lands to the capital to give it more land. This is where the issue came in regarding them wanting statehood. Even if granted statehood, the government would still not be a part of the state. Just the surrounding areas. Which is why I think those lands given to DC should just be handed back to Virginia and Maryland respectively and the government capital will just be much smaller federally independent as it again cannot be in a state
