as a kid i loved these things called "Mamba" that were like alternatives to Starburst. the raspberry was on fucking point

co-op is much better if you're playing with people you know. trying to play with randoms is challenging because the matchmaking is totally random, so people who join your game are usually either much farther along than you or much farther behind in terms of progress

i'm doing single player for the most part but got help for one part. it's a solid game, but definitely could use some polish. it's basically janky dark souls with guns. the levels are largely repetitive and uninspired, most of the 'overworld' part of the game feels very same-y and the dungeons arent well designed at all either. that and as Ving mentioned, some bosses are terribly frustrating.

I was going to try it earlier but it's bugged for most people. The game doesn't recognize you actually have the DLC so you can't go to the new areas. Seems like they've found the solution though. Just need to verify the game's files.

i saw the developer made a post on /r/deadcells mentioning that exact fix.

after i watch an episode of TV i'm gonna dive in.

i spent the money on renting out the locations and gear and creating the props, my friend filmed it and I conceptualized/directed/edited it

i think the video itself is pretty neat and well done. the editing and animations are neat. it's pretty awesome you took the plunge of quitting your day job to pursue your dream, cheers for that.

While people irrationally get upset about anything, the typical thing is more that you see these dumbasses who need loans, get advances, borrow money, etc while claiming they're barely scraping by, but then buy a new TV or get a tattoo. Then there are the even worse people who do all that, but their kids are the ones who suffer the most.

co-worker was telling me the story of his BIL who had recently purchased a jetski or something for like $3k. when someone asked him "but don't you have that big bill due in like 2 weeks?" he was like "yeah but thats two weeks away. ill come up with the money somehow". i was flabbergasted.

basically this, but i'd say it 'annoys' me more than it 'upsets' me. i know people who are so fucking irresponsible with their money and i just dont understand. i've witnessed people be so poor their electric gets turned off only to turn around and buy a new GPU two months later instead of building up savings, then that person complains about how the whole world is unfair the next time their power is turned off.

or people who are poor enough to collect welfare / food stamps but spend the money they do have on stupid ass shit like new iphones. it just doesnt make sense.

i feel like people who lean on / rely on society to provide for them owe society the basic responsibility of being semi-smart with money. but it'd be near impossible to track and enforce anything so welp

Hot damn, good job! After seeing how fun cast builds can be after using Bow w/Hera, I'm definitely trying out the shield and sword cast aspects next time I run those.

i rocked the low-top All Stars for a while, but after i had the 3rd pair crap out after a year i gave up. they're cheaply made and don't have durability at all. i started buying hiking shoes (Merrell, etc) and those last much longer.

if you're only after 'upgrades', only certain NPCs give rewards with additional favor. you can max relationships with the others but doing so only gives more story / dialog
