The first Broadway musical done by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) finally came out in theaters and HBO Max today. Saw it this morning and I thought it was really great, especially the cast and choreography, despite it having some changes I'm not fond of/miss having from the original. What do others think?

I feel similarly to you. I don't dislike the original CS cast, but I definitely dislike the size of it, especially compared to the casts of Sky and Crossbell. So a bit of a cast "redo" for CSIII was much better imo.

Bazel! I did the Ibushi rampage today, went a lot smoother than I expected after the cluster fuck that was the Apex Arzuros fight. I guess I'm getting the hang of them. I'll be on more tomorrow, hopefully will get the rest of the main story content out of the way

Still need to play Prey Mooncrash. I've only heard good things and this is with a fanbase who'd usually be opposed to games like it.

Yeah same, it's a big departure from the base game but really well received. Also sounds like it's essentially the spark that led to Deathloop.

The bank was the highlight mission for me as well, as well as the final level. The latter just had really great, creepy atmosphere imo. Also it helps that I'm a big fan of the Outsider so I'm really pleased with this one focusing on him.

Well I still haven't played Prey's Mooncrash, but...do you guys count that...? I'll get to that in a month or two anyway. Before Deathloop is out.

Really though I just wanted to make a fan topic about Arkane and recommending them to anyone who hasn't played their stuff before. Dishonored. Prey 2017. Even Arx Fatalis is really great if you're the type who can get past a little bit of clunk.

Tried the demo, tutorial and was overwhelmed. Just like a demo for the PSP. Maybe this series isnt for me.

MH demos are notoriously shit, dunno why lol. My first one was Freedom Unite on PSP and it almost turned me away, and I only bought it anyway because I'm a dragon nut and really wanted to enjoy the concept. Rise's demo monsters are harder than what they'd be in the real game, since in the real game you'd be more properly geared and experienced.

Just use a SoD list, literally just play the game, when you get to a new town scroll down the list and see who you can get around there then keep playing.

That's what I did for 1 & 2 but it's still a pain in the ass and stressed me out lol

I decided to farm for Bishaten armor for now. I'm still in Bone Armor, and the Mizutsune urgent was doing large chunks of damage to me. I don't think Bishaten will take that many runs, it's the wyvern gem from Somnacanth I'm bracing myself for.

You should try GL, I hear a lot of people are having fun with that. Pretending to be Valstrax.

I hear it doesn't, though. From multiple people--including a friend--the quests just... Stop. The villagers tell you you need to do something and there's no way for you to do it until the May update. I'm still in hub 5* atm so can't confirm for myself yet.

I mean...it's weird to say I guess, for me. Speaking purely of content, which is what's most important for me in these games, Generations XX is still my favorite. The combat and movement in Rise is really, really fun though, and it is a shame on the content situation and how we're waiting on a lot of it through upcoming updates, even hunter rank unlock. At the very least I'd call Rise my second favorite, and I do prefer it over World.

I did end up leaving Priconne due to the loooong banners. It was all just so drawn out and got really boring. I've seen people making the argument of "It's more time to save up currency" which confused me. idk about you guys but currency from normal daily stuff was almost nonexistent, the bulk of it (for gameplay) comes from arenas and doing stages. Longer banners, more time between stages, less currency, right?
