Metroid 2 was a pretty big deal on release, playing it on release made it feel like one of the most expansive games in the OG Game Boy library.

I mean depending on the mask how much it restricts your breathing varies, but your breath coming back at you sure does heat you up faster.

Wearing a mask outside makes me feel like it's far warmer than it really is.

I mean keep in mind that powering the instapot for 9 hours is not free. I doubt it's a huge expense but I have a feeling that is a good chunk of money.

A custom firmware PSP is one of the best emulation devices in portable form to this day. A wide variety of emulators and it's nowhere near as cramped to use the device like a GBA.

Not really, a hustler typically means a guy that uses nefarious means to get people to bet larger sums like playing down his skill or letting people win early on. Someone that plays straight up and everyone realizes is a solid chess player isn't a hustler per say.

I really don't know what that chess hustling scene looks like though, because it's far more common a practice in pool where often a guy will play well under his actual level in the first two or so games then start winning once the stakes get higher.

Hustling also starts to become ineffective the longer you are in one area, once most of the regulars catch on they will realize how good you really are.

Nice on the Swordcraft games, probably one of the most underrated series on the GBA.

I assume the crowd was too large, they will often kick a few passengers off the plane but this was either a financial thing or they didn't want to have some sort of fight break out when they tried to remove each passenger.

Though I guess they would still charge them even if they were kicked off the plane, so probably just too many to deal with.

Type of thing that only those that work directly with donkeys and/or mules can likely correctly identify each.

The average persons contact with either animal is likely 0.

It's capable of exerting pretty much complete control over somebody, provided that series of commands ultimately ends in their death. Light exploited that by writing his own name in the book to wipe his memory during one of his more elaborate schemes. The series doesn't explore it, but there's really no reason it couldn't be used for good. Heck, even within Light's idea of eliminating criminals, he could have simply used it to compel them to stop being criminals and live out the remainder of their natural lives as upstanding members of society. That's still ethically questionable because of that whole "free will" thing people seem to like so much, but it's generally a more positive outcome than murdering everyone. But Light was an arrogant teenager with a god complex, not somebody interested in minimizing collateral damage while fixing the world's problems, so he went the serial killer route.

I mean it's pretty obvious that Light was a complete sociopath, especially as the series progresses.

Happens all the time in the most expensive parts of California, some areas are so in demand that people will buy house+land then fully bulldoze the older big house just to put up a new one. If they want to live in that area there are 0 empty lots to buy.

Take it from someone that doesn't enjoy most Rogue style games Hades is amazing. It has more story and purpose for being a Rogue style game and on top of that gives you a great sense of progression no matter how far you make it.

Game is easily in my top 10 released in the past 10 years without question.

It's been shown that beyond Kryptonite putting Superman or Supergirl in a room with the red light that the Kryptonian sun would generate strips them of their powers. In the Superman alternate reality DC movie where he lands in Russia as a baby, Batman traps him in a room like that to beat him.

I do enjoy people that claim that we would have the cure for cancer if it wasn't for video games or something. The average person that spends 50+ hours a week playing video games would likely find something else to waste those 50+ hours a week on if we lived in a world where video games never existed.

I want the game but I can't justify spending $70 for it. Especially hearing how short it is.

I paid $5 for the R&C Reboot a couple years ago and it took me probably closer to 35 hours or so to platinum it. Felt like I should have paid more.

I mean it's pretty much the best exclusive on the PS5 right now, especially if we are talking new games and not remakes.

These games are designed to be Platted, it's usually rewarding as hell to do it even for those that rarely if ever Plat games.

The entire point of why that is the case is the first season. Also just because someone doesn't do something all the time doesn't mean they aren't that, if person A murders person B and then doesn't murder anyone else for 40 years that doesn't mean person A isn't a murderer.

I think all hookup/dating apps have inflated peoples standards by an absurd amount, you're not looking or talking to the person in real life so the only thing you have to judge attractiveness is looks, I notice it myself even when I try to use some of these apps, I find myself dismissing lots of people simply because of thier looks in the photo and it's not really something you can control.

They're all just meat markets.

Tinder doesn't really highlight this shit, the entire dynamic is swiping right or left based on purely a photo. I don't know about you but you can't find out much about a person by looking at one photo.

There are plenty of super hot guys out there that are losers on multiple levels and can't get a long term relationship but they can sure find plenty of potential one night stands.

Tinder is a meat market and it heavily favors those that look stereotypically hot. That doesn't mean more normal looking people can't get a hook up there but the odds are far lower. I also think the fact that Tinder is mostly a temporary hook up site helps this notion even more, not many go on Tinder looking for a future long term GF or BF.

If the average user is using it just to find some random girl or guy to hook up with for a few times personality and that shit doesn't mean much.

I also assume there was more nuance to the situation then them demanding a job, they probably would have been fine with him going to school or something. It can be a bit of a pain to have a child that grows up graduates from high school then sits around all day doing whatever at your house.
