| furb 08/07/21 11:50:19 AM #10 | Yep. I listened to coast to coast am from like 04 through 14. I enjoyed the stories and thr weirdness. But at the core of everything was the believers could not be wrong. Proof against was just further evidence of deeper conspiracies. Nothing could be falsified. No tests or explanations proved anything but the preconceived. It was all inductive. Yes conspiracies exist for real, but they use that logic to think they are everywhere and are behind everything no matter what. I think it is a coping mechanism for those that have lost hope and trust in others. They trust nothing and find what little shreds of community they can with the similarly alienated. Being a critical thinker is good. Questioning is fine. But those activities are seeded with rationality and the willingness to modify positions based on evidence. I figure most have just been propagandized by those they trust giving false witness. That is something can happen to nearly all of us in just the right scenarios. In short, I have sympathy for those buying the BS to some degree but only scorn to the sellers of it -- The the two faced leaders, the snake oil salesmen, and opportunists. My father died from COVID on Christmas day. I am not sure I will ever forgive those who hoodwinked millions for profits and power in exchange for the lives of people like Dad. --- You know how fads are. They did with maybe Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, or Kablam, but really, most of their stuff, is rather bland. Cartoon Network definitely has an overall higher tier of artistic expression in their library. Mix in some hallucinations and your lamb is your kid now. Demon sheep are likely a metaphore for the sub conscious knowing the lamb doesn't belong as a person and knowing it belongs in its real world, with the sheep and its actual mother. The Silverback apparently did as much as he could but ended up running to save their lives. Plus it was seamless. I loved starting up on the heights and skating all the way to the coast. I loved three but yeah I hope this one is more like 2 or 1. Yep tried skate xl. Not a fan. Session.
