Unironically the original SW trilogy is the only one worth a genuine re-watch to me. I'm afraid re-watches of the sequel trilogy will make me way too critical of them. I enjoyed them but I could tell they could easily fall apart from analyzation. The prequels were just a dull snoozefest.

Is Karli meant to be sympathetic at all to the audience? I found myself agreeing with Captain America and when Sam wanted to talk her down it sounded super nave.

If she is they're not doing a very good job of it. Any drop of sympathy I might've had for her got evaporated when she blew up that building.

He's definitely misunderstood, but Episode 4 was to demonstrate that he went off the deep end/is nothing like Steve. There's no conceivable way you could paint him as a pure good guy after he murdered someone helpless and begging for their life, regardless of their affiliation.

In retrospect, the series' boss fights aren't much to write home about in general. Mr. Freeze is a stand-out, but the other ones aren't all that memorable.

Yeah. I think Origins might have had the best boss fights (hence me being hyped to fight Deathstroke again) but considering the entire series that's not really much.

Yeah I'll admit the boss fights were a big let down. I was pumped as hell to do the Deathstroke sidequest but it ended up with a retread of a tank boss from the story and he gets taken down in one hit in a cutscene. Lame as hell. Loved the game anyway but that pissed me off.

Game was phenomenal. True, the main story could've used more predator missions and a few more on-foot combat sections, but the game was dope. Spent the most amount of time on it compared to the other Arkham games. And the stuff I was unironically looking forward to the most during its DLC run was the race tracks.

I think it's heavily implied he did. They wouldn't show the guy's head after the final hit, it was always hidden thanks to camera angles.

It's an addicting gameplay loop, pretty much. Come across new monster, learn its movements and attacks so you can fight it more easily, get its materials to make new armor/weaponry, rinse and repeat. For many it might seem like you're not making progress in the grand scheme of things and just not be feeling it, and that's totally fine.

It's a game for people who enjoy the grind and looking to see how they can fight against new monsters, is all.

No, there's a few easy 3 letter combos and that's it. Also 2 old timey safes, but one combo is written on the side and the other in a memo that gets added to your inventory once found IIRC

Also I believe the code numbers are saved on the files section of the inventory so you don't need to write down anything.

"save ammo" is the absolute worst advice for a new player in RE games but I always see people say it.

Better than them wasting it all on unnecessary enemies and getting stuck on bosses and having to restart.

Like yeah, being super stingy on ammo isn't necessary, but don't waste it all either.

I should add, they can detect you if you were running in the room before they spawn. Kind of a dick move, but that would explain why some of them would go straight for you even if you start walking.

Best advice is to always approach a new room walking, never running.

First time doing survival horror? You're supposed to use your weapons on the bosses and stronger enemies, not the small fry.

It takes forever to kill zombies even with headshots (doesn't increase damage, just increases the chance of a critical shot) so just incapacitate them by shooting off their limbs so you can more easily get past them. Shotgun has a guaranteed chance of a critical headshot but I wouldn't waste it on mere zombies.

I think they intentionally broke the balance of the game to try to make it easier for kids. Still fun though.

Love the fact that with the Lazy Shell defensive item you're pretty much invincible, lol. I've never beaten Culex without that strat of giving it to Peach so your healer's always alive.

Aren't sewer levels the lowest point of any game that has them? Not sure why this is surprising. I didn't like the sewers in the original and they were only a couple screens there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game otherwise though.
