Kids are sponges. If they have racist behavior it's something that they learned from their parents or whoever is around them for most of their life. I pretty much agree with this notion.

Adults need to be better so that the next generation doesn't learn bad behavior. Perhaps create opportunities for them to socialize with kids of all colors.

A town/city could be very aesthetically pleasing and I wouldn't mind, but what elevates it for me is if it feels alive. Interactable NPCs, a handful of quests, relationships between NPCs, all that stuff.

^A lot of stuff there makes me extremely hopeful towards BotW2. I think also in the video they said that interacting with dogs and animals, even if it was minimal, was surprisingly well received and they got tons of requests that they wanted to "pet the dog", so they're gonna try to expand that feature in BotW2.

I hope they combine it with the Wolf Link mechanic so you can have a legit dog/wolf companion that can do more than occasionally attack.

Yeah, the Tingle bottles were more fun than I would have expected. Random selfies, jokes, tips, and IIRC even photos you could save and use for the Nintendo gallery. It was neat going out of your way to pick up a bottle not knowing what you were gonna get. I still think WWHD is a huge improvement over WW without the bottles, but they were fun.

I don't know why Nintendo goes out of their way to try one thing and never bother keeping it. Miiverse was neat and funny, brought a nice sense of community to the games that really utilized it, and it's a feature I was expecting to see in future Nintendo consoles. But they dropped it.

There's a sort of implication he was related somehow to Addam. Only Rex could open Addam's seal that Pyra was hidden behind, and both Rex and Addam have the same eyes that Malos points out for both of them.

It's not directly stated but if Rex isn't directly related to Addam by blood, maybe he's in the same kind of circumstance Addam was. Malos in the DLC implies that Addam's golden eyes are because he's a bastard child and not truly Leftherian, so Rex would be the same way...yet the main game implies Leftherian blood is required to enter the Spirit Crucible Elpys. It's possible it's some kind of dropped plot thread they never truly got to explain, and decided to at least make a reference to it in the DLC.

Pick up Narcipear Jelly at Argentum. Pouch Items are essential and this is one of the best items available pretty much at the beginning. It automatically recharges Arts at a decent rate without needing to solely rely on auto-attacks.

Pouch items that recharge Specials are also pretty good. Using Blade Combos alongside Driver Combos (Break, Topple, Launch, Smash) is an excellent way to deal extra damage (the game calls them Fusion Combos), and when you get the option, building orbs from successful Blade Combos to break them during chain attacks do massive damage.

Later on you'll be able to have enough SP to unlock Art-to-Art Canceling for each Driver. This is so incredibly valuable that it's not even funny. Having the ability to use Arts immediately after each other is so freeing.

These tips will help speed up the combat, but of course the game itself takes a while to open up all your options, and even with those I wouldn't say the combat truly starts to pick up until after Chapter 3. The whole Fusion Combo thing is especially something that the game doesn't seem to think is important when it totally is. If your issue is spongey enemies even when you get the combat, chances are you're not going for Fusion Combos. It sounds complicated but it really becomes second nature. Even just the virtue of putting the enemy into Break status before a Blade Combo boosts the damage output by a lot.

I don't want to get TOO caught up in it because I know there's extra stuff in NG+. But doing side quests seems to give a lot of trust, and working on blade affinity charts will still be useful for a ng+. If I ever go back (which I might with the Switch Pro), I'll definitely try to get ask the unique monsters for the rare blades I have. Especially for Zenobia.

Also the fact that it looks like every rare blade has a multi part what is kinda wild.

If you're willing to do the DLC there's a quest there that unlocks the ability to craft Love Source pouch items. Those are easily the most helpful in building trust...it actually does it in the thousands. I can't remember the exact number.
