Im probably alone on this, but McDonalds coffee is a hell of a lot better than the coffee most places, including Tim Horton's and Starbucks.

I seem to recall polls in past years about people's favorite places to get coffee. Think Caribou Coffee was the only dedicated place to crack the top five. I want to say White Hen was the number one favorite, and McD's was like third.

Many states have laws that say election materials must be stored for 22 months, and you can't tamper with them. This situation is a perfect example why. If this doesn't warrant an inspection, than nothing does. What's the point of keeping it all sealed for 22 months if you can never inspect any of it

They've learned from republicans that you don't have to keep and show election records, especially in georgia. Just ask their governor.

They could seriously remake some episodes from the 1960s version verbatim, and they would still be labeled as SJW-pandering.

I'd love to see a Transmetropolitan series made, following the comics beat by beat just to see people complain it is making fun of trump and following a SJW agenda. Then watch them utterly ignore that it was written in the early 90's.

Not really. My tastes seemed to solidify in college, mostly the seattle grunge from the early 90's. Every now and then, I do hear something from a movie soundtrack that causes me to track the band down and see their other stuff. Its how I discovered SOAD. The song "Spiders" was in, I think, Scream 3. Totally different from the rest of their music but it didn't matter, it still got them another fan.

Don't think it will ever change. The view of employer/employee has changed too much. It used to be that you work hard for the company, show loyalty, and it paid off. Raises, promotions, and nice pension when you retire. Now, people job hop for better opportunities and the companies love it because they can keep hiring young grads at the same low wages.

Seriously, take pride in your work. Doesnt mean you're expecting a raise or a promotion, but consistantly doing good work builds the habit so when you DO get a good job you're already built for it. Slacking off just because "I don't get paid enough" is just you being lazy.

I'd say taking pride in your work doesn't mean you are lazy, or that being lazy means you don't take pride in what you do. To me, being proud of my work is doing it correctly and efficiently. Being lazy is not going above and beyond. And I have worked a number of minimum wage jobs, and you get lazy real fast. Doing extra work suddenly becomes a regular responsibility, so your workload piles up and you have nothing to show for it.

Asking for no ice isn't unreasonable. Unless the restaurant is very busy there is no reason to mess that up.

Have you seen the automated machines? Drops the cup,fills the ice first, then pours the drink. The drive through cashier puts on the lid on.
