Aaron Rodgers did surprisingly well, he was prepared, he was quick to respond; I didn't have high expectations for his two week stint but he really did a good job. A couple of the guest hosts could potentially live up to the expectations of the job, but Aaron was by far, the best of the bunch.

People are even calling for him to return to host, and he is apparently willing to do so.

LaVar wasn't THE worst guest host, but he was definitely bottom tier.

I was looking forward to LeVar, but all the criticisms posted here are valid, it was a bit of a disappointment tbh. In time he might improve, but there are better candidates available that don't need to work on their timing and delivery.

Victreebel is coming in to this with better stats but is severely hampered by lack of access to super effective moves and it's STAB moves are blunted by Whirlipede's resistance. Likewise for Whirlipede, no access to super effective moves, though it can take advantage of the STAB.

Victreebel does have one potential ace, Secret Power, which could be a super effective move if all the stars align.

I'm giving this to Victreebel on stats and the off chance that Secret Power hits for the 2X, but Whirlipede stands a decent chance at a pyrrhic victory.

I just don't like the disconnect between seeing it in use in the anime and the reality of using it in game. There are a few moves that are super cool in the anime but are kinda meh when used in game.

Pokemon Stadium 2 was released in December of 2000 whereas the Miltank episode of the anime come out in August of 2000

They have Miltank lying on it's side and then transforming into a rock for some reason. Miltank (as per the anime) is supposed to curl up into a ball and then roll like a wheel.

I guess it's because they didn't want to have unique animations for every pokemon that knows rollout, but what's with this lying down business?

I believe there are strains that do that, but they may be heavy on the CBD side of things.

Alternatively, you can try to disassociate cannabis from food by eating beforehand and not giving in to the munchies after imbibing. Over time it will gradually decrease the desire to eat after, but it does require time, patience, self control and several pounds of stick icky.

You could try the paper shim trick, someone on the net took apart his joycons and added a paper shim between the stick and the contact point and I think someone found it worked on the PS controllers as well.

If you can get them replaced by Sony or your point of purchase, then do so, otherwise, you would have to try ordering a replacement analogue stick through alibaba or something, but that's going to be expensive given the current market and will probably take a month just to get it to customs.

Because that's how the filibuster works; it allows the minority to stall legislation and since the last reform back in the (I want to say) 80's, instead of it being a physical filibuster, it's a two thirds vote just to move an item onto the floor for debate.

The filibuster has always been the tool of the minority party, and often the tool of white supremacists to block the expansion of rights to women and minorities.

Meanwhile, Machop only has a couple of viable options, and if they are not on the move list, Machop is left hoping the STAB makes up for the resistance (It doesn't) or that it has a normal type move with a significant amount of power.

I watched the season 3 finale, of MASH again today. It's a 46 year old episode and I still feel the same as when I first saw it. I can't help but cry. I wasn't even born when it first aired, but have spent decades watching it in syndication.

For those who don't know the episode, Lt. Col. Henry Blake receives his discharge papers and is set to return home, so Trapper, Hawkeye and Radar throw a party at Rosie's Bar in his honour. In the final scene, Radar enters the OR without a mask (where he is chided by Trapper for not wearing one) and says "I have a message. Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake's plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivors."

It marked a tonal shift for the show.

Because of how the senate filibuster rules are structured, unless passed through budget reconciliation (requires only a simple majority vote and can only be used twice a year*) in order to get anything passed in the senate, a two thirds super majority is needed just to debate proposed legislation.

With two democratic senators refusing to vote for anything that does not receive bi-partisan support, despite being in the minority, Mitch is still the most powerful man in Washington.

*Technically the parliamentarian ruled that budget reconciliation could be used four times this year because it was not used in the previous session, but it is likely to be a moot point as Mitch has stalled the legislative process to the point they are unlikely to get the opportunity for a third reconciliation bill let alone a fourth.

Better to do it on the last day of the month, especially if you receive government assistance; if you are on governmental assistance you are often paid for the month on the first, but if you die on any day that is not the last day of the month, the government will ask for the remainder of the money back.

That money is spent and gone and you are stuck making funeral arrangements while the government is hounding you to repay the "balance".

The only reason I still smoke the THC strains is because edibles have been severely limited by law to total THC content to cater to the children who have been eating them thinking they are candy.
