Just movies, yeah it's just a fun technically accurate line lol. Shang-Chi > Eternals > Black Widow.

But it really astounds me that Eternals is the one that caught all this flack when Black Widow was such complete garbage just a few months ago.

I've never really been that big of a fan of Avengers 1 personally, it was really cool at the time for being the first big collab but there's a lot of it I don't really enjoy watching. I do think it's next best in line though and I doubt most people would prefer Eternals to Avengers but for me it was an easy decision. Non-IM1 non-Avengers Phase 1 movies though all defffffffffinitely worse.

Again, the topic title.. Doesn't really offend me either. I don't believe any transphobia was implied.

Yeap, the only thing that really bothers me regarding terminology/language is bad intent.

I've got a family that's known me for almost 3 decades and yeah nobody immediately adjusts perfectly, there will be slip-ups or misunderstandings and I'm sure we're all used to that.

Unfortunately the bad intent side is still very much present though and that's what really brings down the mood.

ftr my opinion on this one is very much that I do not feel strongly about it at all. It certainly is a concept based on the trans usage but like I said attempting to relate isn't really offensive or anything.

but hey I'm reaping the benefits of having an increasingly unisex birth name I haven't really felt the need to put behind me at least yet (not that I've had a very social life during COVID... or before).

I feel like deadnaming is specific to the transgender community, but I also wouldn't view the comparison as 'disrespectful.' I think the main difference is that a deadname calls up more than just a name but everything associated with that time in a negative sense.

I don't think it's on 3DS!... but yes I did buy the game on DS, just didn't get far in it. I remember getting to the first shop you can buy stuff from but that's it.

My family's been on Cogeco for as long as I can remember for Internet without much complaints... although this year's seen some annoying service disruptions, tbf one was a cut wire during the summer. My mom's condo however had a plan with Bell for TV+Internet which seemed pretty fancy but I can only imagine expensive with their TV plan, not that I know the details.

with Sally I remember her having issues... with I think Rogers? and while I was with her helped shift over to TekSavvy..which was also getting some service disruptions it seemed and not always reliable.

in anycase rn on Cogeco we're on an Internet-only plan, Gigabit for 113 :|... the issue I always find is just that ISPs only care about new customers since the discrepancy in pricing for new vs existing customers is always wild. That being said however... uh the new costumer pricing does last 10 friggin years apparently (120 months at $85/per)

I was listening to BD1 soundtrack for ages man, even rewatched the concert show a number of times. Can't say I've been compelled to do the same from BD2.

Yeahhhh I didn't play Bravely Second, put playing BD2 made me wonder if it's at least better. I love the gameplay for BD2 absolutely, but the game realllllly falls straight apart from Chapter 4 onwards (yes I've heard people not getting into it early... but the game absolutely goes downhill in the back half). I know that's kinda saying something given how much people hated the back half of BD1.

It hurts me to say it as well as a massive REVO stan, but the overall BD2 soundtrack honestly was nowhere near as good as BD1. Urgent Tidings is awesome, especially within the context you first hear it that leaves a strong impression... but the rest eh not that noteworthy.
