first poke kinda has to be a Charizard vs Blastoise battle since they were on the box... soooo Charizard right away there.

I liked the Charmander line pretty well, even went to school with a homemade Charmeleon costume from my mom in like grade 2? Can't say may actual fav of the bunch but it's probably Charizard, I really liked his back sprite and that's what you're seeing most the time.

I think at another point my fav became Scyther thanks to his rad blade arms and I mean he flies too. I did also like Pinsir but her probably didn't make it to the #1 slot.

Eventually though I was big on Pikachu merch, loved my fat stuffed pikachu and even named a family cat Pikachu (... and Ash & Misty).

I'm not sure when though my fav switched to Raichu who has remained my current fav for a long while now. I think I remember preferring him since the Lt. Surge anime gym battle, wishing Pikachu evolved.

at some point Totodile might've taken it for a bit but I can't say for sure. I definitely loved picking him as my starter (... even as a kid yes I did emulate a japanese copy before the global release)

every remake has always been full-price relative to the platform they're on, although tbf this is the first remake on a non-handheld *edit* oh right yeah LGPE as paper mentioned

I always remember Pokemon games being really expensive though, even in the reseller markets for the GBA games which ended up getting completely fucked over by bootleg copies

It's not like body cameras aren't used now. Amazingly they seem to always malfunction at just the wrong time.

sometimes they'll even just use the body cams to stage a scene

fun remembering the time a cop got caught because he didn't realize the cams start recording 30 seconds before turning them on, so it showed him stashing contraband, leaving, turning the camera on, then going back and "finding" it

yeah it's known, and mainly just because your collection of Pokemon is still small for the first few gyms, by the time you get to Erika it doesn't matter so much your Charmeleon can finally dominate.
