Yeah, the game had me wondering how it's gonna end, myself. And yeah, they made Byakuya too dead set on his stance about what happened in order to give him his humbling moment, so to speak. He's arrogant yes, but I think he's smarter than that.

Kyoko has something wrong with her body and told Makoto something the player doesn't find out. He goes to a secret place she tells him about and gets attacked; it's hard not to suspect her. Then it turns out Sakura was the traitor, but refuses to be so any more. The overall plot is definitely starting to get interesting

Yep, the game thoroughly hooked me at this point.

Not the best RE but I enjoyed it more than 5.

An official company wouldn't announce something fake on a presentation that had news about their two other games anyway.

Moe, Milhouse, and Peter Pan all look a bit uncanny (Peter's eyes seem too big) but those are well done otherwise.

Also they give incentives for you to fight enemies instead of avoiding them. Big enemies/bosses can give you new skills and abilities, and regular enemy groups refill your health restoration items.

As for the Switch release, the games seem to suffer from constant frame stuttering, a glitch cuts off text dialogue whenever a certain character is used (either - or ; I can't remember), and V3 has crashing issues.

Gotcha. PC's probably the best way to play it. I wish the recent Switch release of the series wasn't so bugged.

Nah, each character has multiple free time events and whether you get a skill or just a skill point is fixed. All you need is a present they'll like or love to get the free time event.

What platform are you playing on, btw?

I've come close but I try to pull off to the side or in a parking lot if I am way too tired to be driving.

People run away/past enemies all the time when playing Souls so I feel this won't be that different. >_>

There's definitely a significant group of gamers where that's their jam. I like survival/crafting if it's not extremely grindy, myself.

2D first. I played Super Metroid via...unofficial means, but it made me a Metroid fan. That and Prime 1 which I found for like $5 before Prime 2 came out, somehow.

Damn, I remember that. There was also another webcomic I used to read, it was Planet Zebeth. Used NES Metroid as the art style.

They actually released the full version a couple days ago. It's a 36GB download.

And the PC port is just RE4 at 60fps. They didn't make any gameplay alterations.

The texture and remodeling work is insane. This is what the Ultimate HD PC port should've been in the first place.

The story and characters being bland seems to be just like the first game then. I'm mostly interested in the gameplay which is what got me liking the first game.

I seem to have the minority opinion when I say that I think 3 was more memorable with certain gameplay set pieces than the previous games. 2 has the best story and 1 has the best atmosphere though.

Jokes aside I actually can't wait. Part 1 was incredible to me. I can see the Kalm flashback lasting about a Chapter or two, going by Part 1's chapter length.

Eternal is bat shit insane. On console I can't play on a difficulty harder than Ultra Violence due to the controls, lol. But it's fun as fuck.

First time I heard of it but what comes to mind is the strength of friendship, not literally how strong they are.

I got my hands on a copy and that tutorial is brutal. Introducing the new way you catch pokemon with the starters was pretty nice, but being led directly to the first 3 pokemon you catch out in the wild instead of getting acquainted with the area by making you hunt for them leaves a really bad first impression

Yeah. Thankfully right after that they send you back out to fend for yourself and fill out the Pokedex survey however you please.

Amalthus in Xenoblade 2.

His mother was killed in front of him when he was very young, and a soldier he helped ended up killing a family as he saw it happen. Disturbed by the evils of the world, he went on a journey to seek God and found nothing but two artifacts. Awakening one Artifact, the Aegis spawned from it immediately sought to destroy the world, and Amalthus thought that destroying the world was divine will and started acting on it. In reality, the Aegis just saw Amalthus's inner turmoil and deep-seated hatred towards humanity and wanted to destroy everything that ever hurt him.

He's not painted as someone you should forgive due to the actions he takes, but the events that led up to him being a villain were very tragic and showed he was a deeply disturbed individual.

Found a shiny Drifloon. This is the second shiny Pokemon I've found so far in this game.

I found out that shinies are a lot easier to find in this game if you work on 100%ing Pokedex entries.

As someone who has played it and never beat a Pokemon game before because I lost interest in all of them, the gameplay loop is extremely satisfying. Catching Pokemon is much faster and no longer needs all that pomp and circumstance (though it's necessary when it comes to how the game's Pokedex works), battles are smoother and faster as well.

Yeah the game's graphics suck and could be a lot better, but the game is addicting, IMO.

To be fair it's pretty good for an NES RPG.

Tbh if it didn't have the issue of all other NES RPGs of needing to grind I'd rate it higher.

I kinda don't understand why they always have extremely long, extremely slow drive thru lines. I can see it being the case of cooking stuff fresh for you, but it feels like they only start cooking it when you're at the window.
