What I find funny is that if they spent some effort in actually porting the games (except for KH3) it would've ran better than this cloud nonsense.

It's the exact opposite actually, lol. MS lets them do whatever they want and that's why Rare has no interest in their older IPs since they always want to do new things. It's why another team took over Killer Instinct instead of Rare themselves.

See this is why I don't trust internet opinions anymore. For years I heard the game grumps suck and weren't funny anymore. But when I gave them a chance it turned out I laugh during every video, usually way harder than I do at almost anything else. Everyone just likes different stuff so it doesn't really matter what other people think. Tbh I love their playthrough. Even if they are dumbasses who say stuff I don't always agree with I don't have to take it personally.

Yeah, I'm the same. It's all personal taste of course but there's a reason I've been subscribed since their inception and have watched every non-stream video. Their DR2 playthrough is hilarious to me even though they do stuff I don't like.

It depends on the developer. Banjo turned out that way because Rare didn't just want to make another Banjo game, they wanted to try some new mechanic. And now they have zero interest in going back to Banjo because they'd rather make new stuff and know fans would be passed if they slapped it onto another "Banjo" game.

Yeah, Game Pass is excellent, to the point where even Sony is considering something similar.

It was a subtle hint. Outside the tube there's enemies you can kill and the X inside move to outside your reach above the tube to transform back. IIRC you don't have your Wave Beam yet so the only way to hit them would be Power Bombs.

If this means that CoD is no longer gonna be multiplat, then this is huge in the game space. I'm happy for the potential of cleaning out the muck plaguing ActiBlizz internally though.

Yeah. They're taking extra time with 6 for some reason. It's a great game, but it feels weird to not put as much effort into the other 5.

I hated Danganronpa 1. I have no urge to play the rest of the series.

I feel like the writing is better after 1, but that's understandable. The rest of the games are mostly the same so it probably won't change your mind.

Looks cool, but I'm used to trailers giving different expectations than what the reality brings. The "dark" aspects are probably mostly gonna be played for comedic purposes.

I miss when Metroid had super catchy, yet atmospheric music. After Prime 1, Metroid music started going into the purely "atmospheric" realm.

Tbh, if they're remaking TLOU1 and doing a Director's Cut of 2 (according to rumors) they should add a player choice at the end of both games to determine the endings you get.

That's why even though I loved playing the game I always said that there's a LOT of room to improve. I'm hoping the sequel will provide better dungeons, way better sidequests, better activities to find in the overworld (includes mini-dungeons since I'm sure the Shrine concept won't return), and a stronger story. Maybe a better weapon system too, something that really rewards you going out of your way to find a weapon in a hard-to-reach chest and won't shatter after ten uses.

I did not Totsugeki with that woman.

Happened to me just now, somehow water just went all up into my nose and it sucks.

Replicant's story is where the whole "multiple playthroughs to get all the lore" thing came from. Replicant has added scenes for some characters on repeat playthroughs, but Automata's "multiple playthroughs" are drastically different.

Yeah, I think WandaVision was purely to set up Multiverse of Madness, so no second season. Maybe that'll change depending on how things end up in MoM though.

Seems like something I could've easily played sooner, I guess I was just getting tired of the zombie craze. Smooth controls and excellent atmosphere. The story's okay but I can see myself parkouring across the city and just scavenging for crafting supplies for a while. Been too long since I've played a zombie game where you're encouraged to NOT fight them...that isn't Resident Evil, that is.

Just because they set up a Reylo "ship" does not mean he can't still be the big bad guy. I don't care what kind of BS was "mandated," they can still have him be the main bad guy and just go for a "forbidden romance" subplot. It'd make more sense than the clusterfuck of Rise of Skywalker.

Just finished watching it myself. It wasn't bad, I just didn't have any attachment to the characters since there were so many of them. The story was cool and interesting, though.

It's fair to think that, but they probably wanted to play it safe since it was so long since the last one.

I do think Metroid games need to be trying new things. The most exciting ability in Dread was the Flash Shift because it changed combat up a lot, hope they do more new stuff like that.
